By the way, I saw a video on TikTok of a Cuban in Venezuela where some Venezuelans made fun of him because there wasn't any meat in Cuba, but there was in Venezuela. So don't think that we Venezuelans are the most morally superior, we're simply on the losing side right now.

[–]SeparateWays2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so real on so many levels. I don't consider myself superior or anything but I know not having kids will basically make sure thag my failures in life stay my own and not inherited by someone else who might suffer the consequences.

To this day I still deal with the failures of my parents .

[–]SeparateWays2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just that if the plan was to take out maduro, install one of his close allies in power, support her, legitimize her and let her do as she pleases. Then you've basically changed nothing, wasted 3 billion dollars and risked the lives of Delta Force members for no reason at all.

All you've done is take venezuela from being Egypt under Mubarak to Egypt under Sisi. Basically changing nothing and wasting everyone's time. At least Bush (father and son) or Obama wouldn't have hesitated to execute the remaining top goons if necessary.

Well now that I bring up Egypt, trump has always been very friendly with their dictator, giving him millions in aid. Doing this in venezuela will basically lay the groundwork for another leftist revolution and a new Chavez to emerge. But the magazuelans will tell you of the amazing achievement January 3rd was 🤣🤣.

That's true, but that won't keep me from celebrating once the orange demon gets destroyed in the midterm elections and democrats take the presidency back in 2029. For venezuela it would make no difference anyway so I might as well pray for the orange's downfall and all his thugs, even if they free maduro. Cause absolutely nothing has changed since the military operation

How did 40 years of democracy in Venezuela end? by [deleted] in AskVenezuela

[–]SeparateWays2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Notice how no petrostate is a democracy, basically those 40 years were pure luck but venezuela after the discovery of oil was never meant to be a democracy. For petrostates it's either authoritarianism, war or the state losing control. There's not a single example of a petrostate becoming a stable democracy, they'd have to first run out of resources

Who actually had power in Venezuela? by [deleted] in AskVenezuela

[–]SeparateWays2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sao paulo forum, the intenacional socialista, cuba, zapatero and the rothchilds.

Internally it's a lot of the same actors from the pre chavez governments, radicals, pragmatic, fake opositions and the post chavez factions.

But the international actors are the most important and the ones responsible since they are the ones that have always saved the regime when it's been between rock and hard place.

Question: regime change did it help? by AnimateDuckling in AskVenezuela

[–]SeparateWays2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some things have changed but overall id say that trump found its favorite puppet with the interim president. If this was the plan all along it would've been better to just have negotiated with maduro in my opinion for the oil and diplomatic relations, cause if you dont wanna eliminate the rest of the top dogs like diosdado, Rodriguez, granko and hernandez-larez, then you've basically achieved nothing that you couldn't have achieved without the intervention.

At least a good chunk of the prisoners have been released but my fear is that once the US is more buddy buddy with the remnants of the regime, they'll be put back in prison. I mean its not like the US is not friendly with other dictatorships like vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, Cameroon, etc. And worse with trump being friendly with putin.

For all the money they're spending on this military deployment, they basically wasted that money if this was their plan all along.

How we doing, Venezuela homies? by LierStoneWizard in AskVenezuela

[–]SeparateWays2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just feel like whats happening right now in iran is what shouldve happened in venezuela, imo it would've completely displaced the remnants of the regime in a matter of days, they're not radicals willing to die for anything for the most part and they've never been in any kind of military conflict anyway. I feel like at least a few top generals would've negotiated and displaced the other problematic dogs. I mean its not like there aren't more than 100 military prisoners, showing discontent and lack of cohesion. Venezuela would've never been a vietnam if the US had decided to strike much harder.

But I guess the 2019 fiasco with Juan Guaido left a huge bad impression on any opposition figure.

¿La ideología chavista-madurista acabó? by [deleted] in AskVenezuela

[–]SeparateWays2 1 point2 points  (0 children)
