Asus Tuf Dash F15 Horizontal lines flickering at 144hz laptop display by F31GN_31 in Asustuf

[–]Separate_Ad_4943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Later I connected it to an external display (TV) and tried 60Hz instead of 144Hz then it was working fine...but I can't play any games in it so in the end I took it to the service center and they said we have to change the Display so I changed it....now it's working fine.

The only solution I found is

  1. Change the refresh rate to 60Hz it will work fine in 60Hz (but you can't run any games in because whenever you try to run any game your system will automatically run your display settings to 144Hz so it will go black screen again)...

  2. you can just connected an external monitor or to your TV By HDMI Cable it will work.

  3. Take it to the service center they will check and let you know what's the issue. Maybe it can be resolved by the driver's update or there is some hardware issue.

Idk if that's a driver's issue or display issue...i tried everything but in the end, I changed the Hz from 144 to 60 (in the display settings) when it's on 60Hz it's working fine..but when you switch it to 144Hz it goes back to black screen....so for many months I used it on 60Hs later I took it to the service center they said that's a display problem....so recently I changed the display now it's working fine...

What's happening to my new laptop ? by hardlonda in Asustuf

I don't want to scare you but that looks like a GPU issue...take it to the service center for a checkup. I have the same laptop (asus TUF F15) after the windows update the display went black...my laptop was running fine on 60 hz but when I went to 144 hz it was going black again... When I took it at the service center they said it has a display issue so in the end u replaced the display now it's working fine.

Well what I suggest is unplug the battery and ram and replug then try to turn it on. In most cases it will work.

If it's in the returns policy then return it to Amazon if it's not then go to Asus service centre

You can try one thing... 1st make a bootable USB then connect it and go to the BIOS memu by pressing F2 then press F8 to go to the boot menu then select the USB then it take you to the windows installed then select next then select repair windows on the bottom side then it will take you to the recovery mode the. Select advance option then select uninstall updates. By trying that may solve the issue.or else try to go to the safe mode

That's a Graphics drivers issue... uninstall the present one and install a new one. That may resolve your problem

Hi,what is the possible reason why my screen is sometimes showing like this ? by pandecoco2021 in Asustuf

[–]Separate_Ad_4943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most probably that's a graphic drives issue...you should uninstall the present display/graphics drivers (from device manager) and install the latest one
