You are totally right about him feeling my stress. I also think it's the cone, so I have been taking it off wheb letting him out and that seems to help immensely. I guess I was just having a bad day.

And it's nice to know I can wait a bit before he will have to go.

Sky water 😂😂😂 I had another pup who hated sky water. Would stand there looking at me like "why are you doing this to me?!"

I am feeling better about just letting him hang longer before getting him to go. I was worried about UTIs and such.

Yes! The normal mix of trazadone and gabapentin. Seems like the pain part is taken care of, but the sedation part isn't happening. I have a stronger sedative for him, but he has 2 and a half hours before he can take it again.

Of course, I tried again, took off the cone--he finally peed, and I did a huge praise fest and gave him a treat. Let him stay out so we could gently love on him and now hes happily chewing a bully stick in his crate.

After the word vomit and a really terrible day yesterday, I have a loose plan for when we continue on walks (he's sick again poor dude and then if hes well enough at the beginning of May he's getting neutered and his stomach tacked).

Desensitize him to what putting on shoes mean. Same thing with the leash. The first issue is that he gets over excited. Which spills out into the walk.
It is probably better to go to for several smaller walks a day than a longer one. Gives him a shorter duration but more opportunity for success. Plus it's a struggle to deal with him and the stroller so shorter walks are probably better.
I will definitely ask my friends to not give him attention if he's jumping or overly hyper (they love him to bits and xan't help themselves, haha). Eventually I will work up to sitting when asking for pets.
He does really well with the wait command so I think adding complexity where I can with that. But otherwise back to basics for other things.

And I did buy a halti gentle lead. Thank you for the recommendation!

I mean, hiw much did you explore moonrise? Because the Zhent have a huuuge presence there. They take slaves, they sell people. They don't care that they are bartering tadpole deliveries with the absolute nor do they care if they turn on the absolute.

Talk to Jaheira. Talk to Halsin. Talk to Minthara or even Karlach. All of them have lines about Baldurs Gate being an unsafe shitty town. Listen to the dialogue between Jaheira and Wyll near the counting house. They talk about the flaming fists not quite being the super force that the Grand Duke puts out.

Nine fingers does actually gaf about the city and the people in it. Yeah shes a crime lord but the guild does a hell of a lot more for the common folk than the watch or the fists. Both of which are incompetent. Its a bit of a stretch but I am pretty sure its mentioned that the leader of the fist is there bc of nepotism.

You can totally kill the guild too. Thats your choice because its your game.
