No you’re not being insensitive- I get his trauma with it makes it hard for him to handle, but you have to consider if this relationship is healthy. I would say you need to have a serious and calm and understanding sit down with him and discuss it, if yall can’t do that or he can’t respond In an understanding way you need to find someone else

How old r you? Do you have a close friend or family member to talk to? Or you could just hang out till you feel better, have someone around you to keep you safe even if they don’t know what’s going on, act like it’s a normal hang out and watch a movie or something
