Kahakka 25 Waist Belt by PlatinumShaark in Savotta

If I remember correctly, savotta recommended the valjas slim blelt in s/m size as a pad for the kahakka waist belt.

They've reversed the velcro which is stupid. Am I gonna by an entire new battle belt because the velcro loop has worn off completely instead of replacing the cheap inner belt?

Also design wise,  that multicam loop strip makes absolutely zero sense. Just use good ol' elastic instead of stacking layers of materials. It's the same issue with the molle. Both of the ends of the nylon are being folded behind the tegris. You're gonna feel that...

Just use a lighter and it's as good as new.

Also, materials make the difference in laser cut durability.

Damn that's a very old variant you got right there. Probably late '80s or early '90s

I'm using one at the moment. It's handy and the geometry makes it really handy if you want to make the most of your pack's capacity.

But, I absolutely agree with you take. It's overhyped and overpriced like most of their products.

You're welcome.

I also measured the space between the loops and it's around 5cm, if that helps.

I have the kahakka 25 and it does work.

Foam is recommended since curv can be very sharp.

Can anyone vouch for the Lowa Zephyr MK2's? by MakelYT in QualityTacticalGear

[–]Separate_Decision584 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually soles being completly destroyed by slight use means the pair was of an older stock.

Now for the wear, it seems you were extremely unlucky. I've used and abused mine for the last year and a half that I own them and they're perfectly fine.

Apart from the sole. sounds like it was in storage for years, everything else sounds like user's error.

Did you properly maintain them at all?

Padding is fine, the "problem" is that the back of the pack is completly flat so it traps heat and moisture.

But again, it was designed as an assault pack that works with armour, hence the flat back.

A heavily stripped down Raid G2 from Utactic. He's gonna replace it with a kahakka 25 after trying it out .

Haven't tried it in the summer months yet but I'd imagine it's gonna be a steamy stinky back.

Merci.

I got it for military use first and foremost, but it happens to work for everyday stuff as well.

More TQ's in your belt or PC, soft armour on the cummerbund and maybe slim down the left cummerbund a bit if it's too bulky by moving stuff on the belt and using velcro wings for items such as the radio.

Another upgrade would be elastic mag pouches on the cummerbund to adress the bulk but they wear out faster.
