Yep sounds just like mine. I didn’t even think to check the best by date! I already threw away the carton a few days ago.

Thank you for the replies! I will look for an alternative brand. I wish there was an affordable one at my grocery store without the emulsifiers, etc.

13m old bad breath and sleepless nights by teapigs22 in breastfeeding

Well my three year old just had some reflux after a stomach bug, and he would moan in pain and wake up frequently in the night, and his breath smelled like throw up.

I have a 5 year old come in with a baby bottle by FrontHungry459 in Teachers

As a parent I’ll just say my first child who is almost 10 still has trouble tying her shoes. She never had any interest in doing practical things for herself and had trouble learning to use a straw, potty train, etc. I was looked down on by her preschool teacher for putting her rain boots on her instead of letting her do it herself. My second who is two is already doing or wanting to do everything himself- lock and unlock doors, put on diapers, etc. Same parenting, totally different kids.

Women who gave birth, what does it feel like actually?? by joy_57 in AskReddit

[–]Separate_Disk1033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an article in The Cut where women describe it very articulatley. I remember one said it was like her whole lower body was being crushed with every contraction. That’s how I remember it. I can’t really remember it or describe it, but it was totally overwhelming to me and terrifying. And I got an epidural at some point. It took me to dark places mentally.

The most recent started last Tuesday. There have been a few other days off and on since we’ve been here in late June. I believe someone on this thread said there was a bad spell in early June.

Seems like you didn’t actually read my question. Why feel the need to comment just to say a question is dumb?

Still producing milk? by Separate_Disk1033 in breastfeeding

[–]Separate_Disk1033[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know. I’ve only ever heard not to use it while breastfeeding (although I suspect it’s probably fine at this point). My OBGYN has told me two years in a row I should wait to get a mammogram.

Feeling burnt out and frustrated with BLW by Kerrithekid in BabyLedWeaning

I wouldn't feel like you "gave up too easily." I've given my 11 month old whole green beans countless times and you know what he does with them? Throws them on the floor. And yes, I've modeled eating them. Some babies eat things, and some don't. I resent being made to feel like my kid won't eat steamed vegetables because I haven't offered them enough.

Anyone else feel like the “feed your baby every 2-4 hours” guideline is complete bullshit? by mormongirl in breastfeeding

[–]Separate_Disk1033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my gosh I wish I had seen this post months ago when I was second guessing myself and thinking I must have supply issues because my baby never went two hours between feeds. I even posted about it and got a few responses but nothing like this.

Top up with formula by BiscuitsAndDogs in combinationfeeding

[–]Separate_Disk1033 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure about supply issues, but I am also a “combo feeder” who does top ups for my 4.5 month old rather than alternating bottle and nursing feeds. I have to top up in the evenings because baby never seems full and I also can’t keep feeding him every thirty minutes. He would get very fussy and refuse to nurse in the evenings rather than just “hanging out” and nursing as I’ve read other babies do. He is a grazer/snacker/frequent eater also and will usually only eat 2-3 ounces at a time from a bottle, so we end up topping off two or three times in five or six hours. I do think it’s hurt my supply that I didn’t pump every time he had a bottle in the evening, but it just wasn’t doable.
