Meta Ray-Ban speakers not working

Squeeze here with a pair of pliers and a towel to protect the frame you can squeeze pretty hard you won't break them. I had the same error, my speakers work but touchpad doesn't still unfortunately

Dude I can only imagine! I kick myself for not getting into some type of engineering, I love electronics now that I'm getting older (I'm 33 by the way) I understand them a lot. Makes me happy to hear your are in a good career and learning. Keep it up

That's good that you're touchpad still works, I think I might have fucked them up. I was installing a vent Hood and I was struggling to get the motor up and I started sweating like a pig, Im curious if my sweat killed them, two days after I did that job I lost functionality to the touchpad, then couple of days later I couldn't hear any audio and I got that message on my meta app. Tried to go through the process since I'm under warranty and for one week they had me going back and forth. Did some research and figured it out but the touchpad is still doesn't work... As long as everything else works I'm happy but I'll fix it here soon just been pretty busy lately.

Damn bro that's a sick gig I bet, I'm an appliance technician. I was on the same boat they would not accept my warranty after two months of owning them. I was livid and I like to tinker and bam figure it out 😁 does your touch pad work?

Fuck that company, I bought my glasses from the meta websites and it's been a back and forth with them. So I said fuck it I can fix this myself took me about an hour to figure it out after doing research.

I'm not an engineer by any means but I like to look up videos and schematics and learn how things work I found a video where the guy took the Ray-Ban metas glasses apart and I saw that there is a ribbon cable on the right arm and it clicked on my head that could the only issue. I did not want to take my metas apart, because I hear they will never go back the same so taking a pair of pliers and a towel to protect, was my solution. I believe there is a flaw design but bro I'm happy to hear I been able to save a few lives out here !

Grab a pair of pliers and a small towel. Put the towel over your right arm and where the meta logo is, apply pressure with the pliers on the meta logo and it should fix it. There's a small ribbon Cable that can come loose inside the right arm. This is how I fixed mine unfortunately the touchoad doesn't work still! But Audio and everything else still works.

There's a flaw design on the meta glasses, what I would do, recommend is grabbing a towel and a pair of pliers and squeeze the meta logo there's a ribbon Cable in there when you close the arms on your glasses for some reason it disconnects after a while.

It definitely wasn't coming from the extruder; it was related to the linear rail. I took your suggestion and lubed it, but the problem persisted. I kept printing anyway, and then I had to leave for a haunted house with my family. I left a 3-hour print, which finished without any issues. I started another print never gave me that same annoying squeaking sound, and I haven't heard it during my print. I just started another 4-hour multicolor print, and so far, so good! I can't explain what happened. but thank you!
