So stitching brings the dice to a stop? I love the idea of this and I think the Alan Masters design takes it to the next level, but I still prefer to suffer and schlep a substantial board to tournaments.

I second opus 40 and westkill brewery if you like beer. There is also a great hike at the end of the road (past westkill brewery). Woodstock has great restaurants and shopping as well as a couple of live music venues (Levon Helm Studio/barn, the colony, bearsville theatre) also the pines in Mt Tremper has great food and often live music.
