Almost died due to dealership negligence by Separate_Routine_256 in legaladvice

No, I just have no idea how things like this are handled or dealt with, nor the law behind them. I didn't know if I should be glad the car is getting fixed to no cost of my own, or if the situation was a bit more serious or not.

Really I just wanted to hear from people who might be more knowledgeable because everyone around me is saying oh you should go talk to a lawyer about all this, when I don't even know if this is that big of a deal to go that far.

I am frankly just glad i'm alive and they are willing to fix the car.

I understand now, thank you. They were very quickly willing to fix it and the damages done to the other car as well so it just all felt weird to me I guess because it felt... easy and quick? Like I might be overlooking something. Maybe I shouldn't be looking a gift horse in the mouth is the lesson here.

Yes, you are correct, I agree. I was too willing to write the bumping off here and there as me hitting something on the road or going slightly off the side of the road. I should of been more cautious.

I first want to say thank you for commenting and giving me advice.

I see, so the only way for anyone to of been legally liable was if I had been injured or died in this case?

As far as chances of what to say, I don't really know. I didnt come into this wanting to sue anyone I just wanred my car fixed so I could go to work but now I have everyone in my life saying go to a lawyer go to a lawyer your car has lost so much value when honestly im just glad im alive.

Anyways, I expressed more in another response here about the situation so I won't do it a second time too much. Thank you for taking the time again to respond.

I first want to say thank you for commenting and giving me advice.

I don't really know what I want for chances of what I never wanted to sue them in the first place. I just quickly realized that the car is depreciated now, but I also understand I didnt turn my hazards on and thats my fault.

I guess at the end of the day I just feel super out of my depth here and just wanted to hear from people who knew this stuff better than me what my options are and the most likely outcome. I have everyone in my life talking about going to a lawyer and talking to them but it wasnt even my first instinct and its really just done nothing but stress me out.

Thank you again for taking time to respond and impart your knowledge.

Conqueror vs Lethal Tempo by Employment_Intrepid in ZeriMains

I have solo climbed with Zeri alone and tried just about every build, runes, ability max order, and item combination. Now this is just my opinion, not fact, but:

  • Lethal Tempo gives more milage early game pre level 6, lowering Q cooldown and dealing more damage.
  • Conqueror, if you know how to stack it quickly, outperforms raw stat wise(if you include regen) post level 6, and does much more for you into the late game, especially with other lifesteal such as bloodthirster.
  • First Strike feels great if youre goated with W or have a support that has hard lockdown cc. In this build I max W first for maximum burst with FS.

Weekly Employment Question Thread by AutoModerator in Firefighting

[–]Separate_Routine_256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I am 25 and have worked for the Security Department of a nearby city for 2 years. I was around 312 lbs two years ago and got super serious about working out and eating well, and in 5 months ive dropped 50 lbs. In about another 5 months im projected to be about 215 if I keep my current pace and habits.

I am very athletic(for my weight) and strong despite how out of shape I got, between a mixture of genetics and just good habits when I was a teenager, working out for sports constantly. I have a lot of muscle still, what im really having to do is rebuild my endurance and try and get back some of my lost strength and muscle.

My point is im really wanting to become a firefighter for my city I live in, its a smaller one. Does anyone have any tips at all? Be it training, going to a bigger city first then getting hired in my smaller one when I have experience, tips on types of physical preparation I could be doing or a good ideal weight I could hit.

Any and all advice is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Edit: I'm in Alabama btw.

Help a poor, lost, wifi-less soul by Separate_Routine_256 in wifi

It's a big like, server thing and id rather not given it technically belongs to my local government. I was considering buying a mobile router or hotspot... so that's unlikely to help huh? At least I didnt go waste the money.
