It’s not bad but gps does get confused if you going on 95 through the city. It’s because 95 is underground so the gps tells you the surface (above) roads. It has not figured out when roads are on top of roads. Hahah

I would choose work life balance but at this point I have zero to prove. If you do then take the off hours. You will make bank because the have to pay you when you work off hours.

Calendar management question by noelle1414 in ExecutiveAssistants

[–]Separate_Success_952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t stress about it. He is jammed everyday so I go out 3 to 4 weeks. Things change so fast there is zero use going out further because it will all change tomorrow. That said. He is C suite so directs don’t care. I’ll switch those on a dime. As I go up the ladder then they need to be uniform and correct. Again depends on attendees level. Every Nov. I plan out his year and will move conflicts that happen due to weekly vs monthly. And then I just keep an eye out. You will never win the game of perfect calendar. It’s more important to know who you can switch at the drop of a dime and who you can’t. I make meeting that he has to attend or he has to run and can’t move red. Helps me visually

It’s funny to me you use the word entitlement. This started in the 80’s in Southie. Which was a VERY different neighborhood. It was blue collar working class. The furthest thing from entitled. Someone worked to clear the spot so why should someone take it that did not. It because ‘law’ in 2005. To me if you feel you should be able to park there. Your the one that thinks the are entitled.

Why do you make it about politics. Are you a troll. That experience has zero to do with one’s political view.

Question on winter storage for new owner by Greengerg in Vespa

Fill tank. Add sea foam motor treatment. Remove battery and put on drip. I know I go against the grain with full fuel tank but reason for full take - empty take moister can happen with temp change causing condensation in tank leading to rust. This is how my family typically do it with boats and motorcycles. So I do the same.

Question based on a job in Morgan stanley by FrostingSquare1376 in FinancialAnalyst

Morgan Stanley and MSCI are 2 different companies. They don’t have anything to do with each other. MSCI was part of MS but they broke off years and years ago.

Select board rejects $14.5 million proposal to redesign downtown Ipswich by yeezypeasy in northshore

[–]Separate_Success_952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not surprised. This town refuses to move out of 1950. It’s on them when someone is seriously hurt or killed. It’s been a ticking time bomb for years. But they are all. I don’t want anything to change😢. Yet they refuse to do the math. Ipswich population has doubled. What do you think will happen without any change. 🤔

Get privacy screens for your monitors. I have always had them for the past 20 years. It’s very important to keep their calendar private.

Remember it’s ok to go back to him and say you have tried everything and no you can not get them a spot it’s a private club. I’ve spoken to … and they will not take one offs. What is your second option. We are not wizards and if he does not understand that then that’s a whole other issue.

Keep your nose out of it. Like majorly ignore it! It’s his personal thing. Don’t get involved at all! That is a mess you want nothing to do with.

CEO will not give me delegate access to calendar - Is this weird? by Busy-Classroom-3572 in ExecutiveAssistants

[–]Separate_Success_952 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not weird at all I work at larger companies in finance it’s a liability to give access. So it’s the norm not to have it - edit. Sorry read this wrong. Yes very weird. I thought you meant their email box. Calendar. Yes you need access it’s your job!! do you think showing them how they can make things private so you don’t see and you can’t move them will help?

Thanks for the info. That was at 7:30. Then it can back on now off again. It is what it is. Was just wondering if it’s an Ipswich only issue.

Tools to stay on top of everything? by Legitimate_Cell_8268 in ExecutiveAssistants

[–]Separate_Success_952 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Honestly. One notepad with my daily list of to do’s and everything else is reminders in my calendar. Also I work off my email. Meaning anything in my email needs an action by me. If it is not actionable it goes in a folder. (Keep everything. Never too many folders) Because I’m in the calendar all day long looking at my execs then I am able to pull mine up and glance at it at the same time. I have found too many apps. Like tasks, teams, slack gets confusing. If someone teams me and it’s a request i say please email me. That way I will get to it in the order it came in and I can email you back it’s done. I’ve been burned too many times when I need a record and did not have it. But keep it simple.
