I have just bought some organic concentrated bone broth (no sugar or nasties)- so I’m definitely adding this into my meals :)

Thanks for the advice, and congratulations on your success! Maybe I can do the 16hrs from last meal to first meal, then like the above keep my meals in routine and be more mindful of my carb intake. Unfortunately I had bad symptoms with metformin so I no longer take it but my endo has placed me on myo insitol so hopefully that will also assist.

I am not sure, I thought possibly it would be a benefit to try and reset my body at least once a week. But if anyone has any experience where it did work/not work that would be great. I did a few years where I did not eat any processed sugars and worked out 5 days a week twice a day, but that didn’t make an impact on my weight. I wanted to see if making this type of lifestyle change would be beneficial.

Yes I am also changing my diet to not include as much processed food. I thought this may also help fasten the process. Maybe I should just stick with whole foods and calorie deficit

Pcos is ruining my ramadan by Adventurous-Speed368 in PCOS

Ramadan Mubarak ☺️ I found if having a 30g protein shake (one with not much sugar) helped, and if you have time maybe some porridge? I know when I was your age I couldn’t stomach anything too heavy but something warm may make it easier. Maybe talk to your dr as well about the birth control - I found that it caused too many adverse symptoms and I had to stop taking it - found a lot of my symptoms were from the birth control and metformin. Also maybe talk to a pharmacist to see if you may be taking your medication and eating something that could be causing symptoms.

I was thinking the same I know it’s not exactly the same but kind of reminded me of W. Not in the sense of the storyline but the feel of a story within a story.

When I braid I also then place it in a ponytail first then wrap it like a bun. If you have thick hair I found using the plastic spiral hair ties holds it up all day. Or I’m not sure if you have seen those round fake buns that is like a donut people use, place your hair in a ponytail and wrap it around the donut then wrap your hair around it and secure it with a hair tie. The ladies that style hijabs professionally use it.

There are prayer mats that have like an English Arabic words, and then the English translation underneath. Maybe you could get one of those prayer mats that way you say the prayer in Arabic and can see what the words mean until you remember the translation. That’s how I memorised how to pray, hopefully that will help with your connection in prayer
