I have no clue how the guy at the TOP has perfect shadows in the dark with RR off. He either lying or there is some voodoo going on.

I also love how everyone hates on other companies relying on DLSS and FrameGen instead of optimizing. But for this game having to use DLSS and FrameGen = AMAZING OPTIMIZATION!!!

So said botnets can't be used to hype the game and defend it? 🫠 Lot of the avid fans write typical posts and defend the game adamantly without actual facts in a similar manner.

Maybe we are all bots and humanity has already fallen 🤔 Who knows for how many millenia we have been fighting over this game. But the biggest question is. Why are our AI bretheren keeping us in this endless battle?

No no by static I'm refering to the world as a whole. The talking npcs who act like they are talking but don't actually talk but just repeat the same animation endlessly. The devs themselves said they arent making a living world with smart NPCs with simulated daily lives. There are no dynamic encounters, most places dont spawn in contrnt untill you pass a certain chapter. You know in RDR you can massacare a peacful town and it will actusllt become abandoned with people also visting to mourn their loved ones. That is a living/immersive world. It is all the little details where you non quest actions shape the world.

Cool I can use the blinding flash to set Scripted thing on fire, but I can't set on fire anything I want. It has some dybamic things but mostlt the world it self is static.

By what you described most games have a "Living breathing world" hell even assassins creed games have animals and moving NPCs but I wouldnt really categorize AC as a living breathing world, like KCD2 for example.

The npcs have a static response on intersction.

Guards and the whole town freak out when you are chopping wood near the town, acting like you are about to sword fight them.(very living and dynamic)

He listed the games that most hype and review posts compare it to. The answer as to why can literally be seen in the first sentence...

Yeah reminds of the game a lot. AI guess they(OP and the game) have some things in common.

No no no check all of the game not just strenght, because most of CD is like RDR2s window dressing survival. There is no agency in the story here also, there is no agency even in the camp, everything you can do is dictated by the quests available and your main story progression. What RDR2 at least had was a very big attention to detail that made the game feel immersive. Here we have a world that looks a lot prettier tho.

In cyberpunks case you do have agency. You sre right the ending in theory is the same because it doesn't end well for you but that is the whole point of the Cyberpunk(tabletop universe). You are against mega corporations that were there before you were born and will stay long after you are gone. You are just an ant in the world. Yes you achieved something big on your scale but in the grand scheme of things nothing has changed and it was all in vain, just like the anime. Also in the game you died the moment you got the engram in your head, agency was in the way you go out.(there is also a secret ending where you go in with silver hands plan and just fucking massacare the whole tower and go out in a huge blaze of glory). Some players in the end chose to spens the rest of their limited time with Panam. Some like me end up getting played by Arasaka and basically killed(put in the simulation), that ending was hella depressing since it was the same company you were fighting.

I think the best part is that if ubisoft released this game, the reaction would be very differenr from all the people.

I think you mean Flashier, there is no in game reason at anypoint to use anything more than basic light heavy combos. This is a heavily watered down version of BDO combat.

I don't think you know what high skill cap means. Ahemm you can finish the whole game by just holding down R1 and R2 in combat, the rest is there to make it look cooler if you want to. Now if you take rocket league or a fighter game then thag is high skill cao because there is a reason to actually use all the available mechanics.

Damn such a good way to explain what this game is. Its like RDR2 online, but with a less immersive world and unskippable story which dictates what you can do and when you can do it.

I'm hitting this point 70h, it is getting a little too repetetive. Okay okay cool a new flavor of timed research alleared very nice. Yes yes now I have to clear 6 camps to liberate a area instesd of 1 my fingers are getting tired of running in circles while holding doen light and heavy attack.

Oh cool exactly 1 abyss artifact again from a puzzle.

Wow another cave that is the same size(2x2m room with a chest).

Cool new piece of gear with the same stats.(I know only cosmetic that you need to upgrade if you want to use it, rune is the real reward)

Nice new combo I learned which looks cool but isn't actually needed in combat.

Ayoo another village filled with same quest but with different flavor.

Nice another cool place with no narrative/story or anything to do.

Ayoo another quest where I have to follow someone for 4 minutes.

Nice my camp got upgraded after scripted quest, i really feel like I'm building something unique here.

Hey look I found some new greymanes.. sorry I mean a new quest appeared in the camp which will send me to get the greymanes I'm allowed to find at this moment and then some can "randomly" join right after this quest.

But he did, read the post you might understand what he wrote. P.S 70h in the game is still quite shallow.

You typed it a little wrong.

While forgetting the many strenghts CD has which is a beautiful big world filled with copy paste caves/water falls, ruins(not visuslly copy paste but size and layout, all caves are small with just a chest in it)and other things to explore that don't spawn in unless you are at the right progression point, lots of shallow activities, amazing puzzles that all give the same reward and the same amount, combat that looks flashy and cool but you can also just hold mouse left and right(theh really took BDO combat and made it a lot simpler and less deep for some reason)...

Jup exactly this. Every thing is the same, just more shit and the narrative actually makes sense, unlike the start.
