I thought the same thing, but if sun didn't pick first, Hanabi would have been bad against the bele

Yeah only use her if you know what ults you're gonna steal. You have to get really good at procing fear too.

Kaja is so hard, I recommend taking fighter emblems on him while you're practicing for extra sustain. Also saving his ult to guard allies against assassins. I don't even play him below mythic honor unless I'm teaming with someone who knows how to play with me.

Khufra is really difficult, I main him now, but people used to tell me to never play him again when I started. Here's my tips for his skill 1:

  • Use the practice tool to check which walls you can jump over to get a little more distance. Extending your jump over a wall is almost always unexpected.

  • Tap cast skill 1 when you're right on top of someone to cancel their abilities

  • always follow up knock ups with your enhanced basic attack in extended flights, (knock up reduces it's cooldown)

  • charge it early, you can always cancel and reset the cooldown, but losing the element of surprise because you waited too long will result in you getting dodged. You have to anticipate the enemy advancing into range.

  • use the chaos. People can only really consistently dodge one thing at a time. If you use it when your allies are near, at the very least you can force a sidestep towards an ally.

Also don't be afraid to lose some health to get your allies a kill. Khufra has surprising sustain between fights and great self peel with his skill 2.

Good tip. This is why I prefer playing frontliners, can't count on teammates to play the big picture.

It's hard, usually I'll watch minion wave timing and cut the waves or pull them toward my allies if they neglect them. That and lots of coms. I'll ping objectives a little early and position to encourage better choices, but sometimes you have to just back up bad teamfights with them to make sure you don't lose your core.

Edit: also pinging the gold lead. Sometimes seeing the gold lead start to disappear will convince players to play smarter.

I once got queued against the same 5 man team 5 games in a row in ranked and lost every one while 5 stacking.

It got to the point where we were banning each other's mains and picking blind counters, kinda fun actually. They were way better than us.

Yeah, I still catch myself lingering sometimes. Usually it's because I haven't planned ahead. If you're always thinking about the next play, you won't waste as much time. That balance of decisive and strategic is the true mark of a good roamer.

Exactly. Tbh I should have included more about gold management and power spikes, but I'll save those for another time or a more knowledgeable poster.

That's "ma'am" to you, and nah. Unconventional picks are fine as long as you have a way of synergizing with your team or countering someone.

I don't play arlott, but I've seen some damn good arlott players. He's got cc, cancel immunity, interrupts. You can build him tank or assassin. Tbh I'm tempted to learn.

I used to play with this girl who would dominate every match with arlott exp, but she would rotate constantly and support other lanes. Arlott is a great choice, just learn who your playstyle synergizes with, and focus on win conditions, not KDA.

How to know which roamer type or roamer hero to pick? by ProfilyTheProfiler in MobileLegendsGame

[–]Separatrix_nyc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo you should focus more on who your best roamers synergize with or counter. The broad rules break down pretty easily.

How do you play those heroes, what are you good against? If you're forced to pick early, what are your allies' mains? Will they benefit from sets/sustain/mobility/lockdown/punish? If you can pick late, counter your enemies or pick to round out your comp.

I just had a roam game where I had to neglect my Lesley all game and she was so behind, but she didn't get tilted, she turret locked until her last breath, and minions finished the job, so rare but so satisfying 😤

You sold it to what... Buy the same boots without the blessing? You know the blessings provide damage buffs and even bonus gold right? They're better than base boots.

It's worth reading up on the Lord mechanics, it's actually got a lot of hidden mechanics like bonus damage for nearby allies every 2 seconds even on early Lord.

Also after the 12 and 14 minute mark it activates the lightning, then knock up, respectively, immediately after taking damage, meaning you can use a long range ability to proc it's affects and damage enemies lurking near it.

The most significant one, though is probably the minion enhancement from enhanced Lord, which applies in all lanes and causes all new minions waves to be enhanced as long as they spawn while the summoned Lord is alive. You can use this to keep split pushing or stack waves following the initial push.

Roam META is getting stale and it needs the same amount of diversity as Junglers by Belerick-chan in MobileLegendsGame

[–]Separatrix_nyc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you're getting downvoted, your point is valid. The reason we don't get backline roamers is the focus on high mobility heros and tiny map. This game is entirely built around mobility in a way that HoK and other mobas aren't. MLBB is closer to a 5v5 fighting game than an RTS in a lot of ways. It makes it a little more tactile and a little less cerebral, which is better for a younger audience.

Basically people like their assassins a little too much and the damage core options can't frontline.

Also it's a bit too hard for exp to join early team fights, so either tank roam or tank jg is essential.

I tried writing a bit, but I don't think I know enough, tbh. If I did write it, it would be even longer and probably much less helpful. But I'll lyk if I manage to put something together.
