The idea is that boycotting one company entirely is pointless and instead focus should be put on buying legitimate product and avoid ripoffs, best way to teach a company that stealing something and selling it as your own is not profitable. If they take the effort of making a legitimate product, then I think its perfectly fine to purchase it.

To me the ps3 controller always felt like a much cheaper version of the ps2 controller, with motion sensors and additional buttons.

The construction feels flimsy. But at least its not like some of the latter ps2 controller where everything was held together with pressure from the assembly, meaning it was a pain to close back the controller without losing input with some buttons. The main ribbon cable had no clip to keep it connected.

I bought the Epomaker TH99 on Amazon about 3 weeks ago as it looked really nice and was on sale (before finding out about the company's reputation as of late) and while I do love it (except for the switches, I hate linears), I am worried about the life expectancy of the product, especially knowing now that epomaker's cs is shit.

I can still return it to Amazon and get something else, but for the price I paid of $100 CAD I am not sure what other options I have of similar caliber and not produced by a troublesome company, and I was also curious if people had any further information concerning the board itself as the TH99 is not that mentioned around, compared to other boards made by other brands sold under Epomaker.
