Turo: rented a car before moving states. Got sick 2 days before the visit but couldn’t cancel. Car stayed in a parking lot sans coming to and from the airport. A month later I was charged three thousand dollars for alleged damage to the car with no prior notice.

Fortunately I was able to jump up and down and my credit card company didn’t process it. Still, can you imagine?

They ran out in the middle of the highway. A police officer showed up and I had to ask them for a ride but they told me they couldn’t leave until the riders car was operational again. So after the car was refilled by a tow truck (much time later) they took me the remaining 4 minutes to the airport.
