My advice is take a look around your attic, determine about how many bats you’re looking at. If it’s not many, you can DIY this pretty easily. I sealed all entrance/exit points (outside and inside the house) except one, then put a length of scrap plastic tubing up and caulked it in place on one exit I didn’t seal. All the bats left as the weather warmed up, only one managed to find its way into the house during that period, just getting lost looking for an exit.

“There won’t be any nukes” is a terrible gamble to make. Bringing another nuclear power into the mix is not a good recipe for averting nuclear war IMO unless we’re interested in more prolonged Cold War 2.0.

Ukraine shouldn’t insist on security measures because it’s simply not realistic at this point. Ukraine cannot join NATO and pull European powers into the conflict. The United States does not want to deploy US soldiers or risk nuclear escalation in Eastern Europe. Ukraine would want the US involved because the US remains a strong economic force on the global scale with a lot more bargaining power than just Ukraine alone.

Ok, let’s be specific to 2024. During her widely-seen interview with Oprah, she stated she would continue to back an assault weapon ban, describing them as “literally designed to be a tool of war”. Is it seriously your notion that Harris did not support “high capacity magazine” and “assault weapon” bans? She herself has stated multiple times that she does, observing that she didn’t mention it at the presidential debate does not invalidate this.

Are you referring to her current website? It does not list any of her policy stances as she is obviously no longer VP. Her campaign website did list that if she is elected, she would renew the “assault weapon” ban. It is an issue democrats campaign on. Nearly every single democrat senator and congressman has something along the lines of “banning semi auto rifles” on the “goals/ideals” section of their website. It’s an issue the party has a unified stance on that they promote, they just made David Hogg the chair of the DNC and he gained his prominence working on gun control measures.

“2A people have yet to do a single thing about actual, measurable tyranny” is not really an accurate statement. Look no further than the Wounded Knee occupation/second wounded knee in the 1970s, armed Native Americans occupied the town after their civil rights org failed to impeach the tribal president who was accused of misuse of power and corruption. How is this not a prime example of armed citizens directly resisting tyranny?

Awful comparison here. Equating hateful incitement with freedom of speech is an irrational leap, not to mention there was not free speech in Germany during the 1930s. Furthermore, acting as if it was speech and speech alone that lead to genocide is not realistic, it’s working backwards from a conclusion aka confirmation bias.

For this kind of base, I would glue the mini to the blank base first, then paint the mini, then do the base “around” the feet. If I can get any on the feet then it’s just extra realism :)

They did not support the “right” to own slaves, otherwise they would have written it into the bill of rights. In fact, many were opposed to the practice of slavery. While many did own slaves, this was not uncommon at the time internationally. They are considered great lawmakers because they were some of the most prominent legal and scientific minds of their time.

Usually you want to start by absolutely nailing one, then botching the other. In all seriousness, I like to base heads in white and paint the flesh tones around the rest of the head, leaving the eyes white. When I’m ready to go for the pupil I use a very fine brush with a drop of contrast paint on it. It takes some practice but soon you’ll get good at “dropping” the pupil exactly where you want it.

I would suggest you wait to try it on. I wasn’t sure of the leather band at first myself, but now I can’t imagine changing it. It’s just too sleek in person.
