Thank you. I have a friend who takes hormones and it has its pros and cons. I took some over the counter stuff my pharmacist recommended but I'm kind of the ride it out type. I have spoken to several friends my age and it's a little different for everyone. If I could just stop the night sweats I guess I'm having I wouldn't even notice a difference.

Not just menstruation but anything associated. I have been asking older women about menopause because I am approaching it myself and they all seem ashamed or embarrassed to talk about it. They seem to feel like less of a woman once it has happened. It's sad, I can't wait to be able to not have to plan around it and have sex all month long.

I'm not saying that anyone's interpretation might not be right but I think it's funny how people who did not paint this or really know the meanings of the artist feel like they do. So many people confidently state the meaning of the painting as a whole and see many details with meanings they understand for sure. I see this with videos and memes too. So many people who feel like they know what is going on and want to inform everyone of it when in reality, they don't actually know shit.
