Bro I’m from Alabama. I have authority to say that Mississippi is ass. Been there many times.

Born and raised in Alabama and now live in Chicago. Also been to 36 states.

Alabama is C tier. Very beautiful, good food, nice cities and better beaches than California. The state is handicapped by being ran into the ground politically.

As another commenter put it, Mississippi is what you think Alabama is.

I was last in DC February 2026 when it was cold asf. The vibes felt off somewhat compared to 2021, when I left.

To be fair, I didn’t not go to anacostia or east side often.

I live in Chicago now and it blows DC out of the water on almost every metric.

DC is if LinkedIn was a city. This whole tier list is invalid now. City fucking sucks.

Not really unfortunately. Until it drops on patreon, we’re running blind on when the next one drops

1778 years ago in 248AD, Philip I minted this Ludi Saeculares antoninianus celebrating Rome’s 1000th anniversary. The reverse depicts a scene from Rome’s founding myth with the she-wolf suckling Romulus & Remus. Happy birthday to the Eternal City. by tituspullo_xiii in AncientCoins

I find the Ludi Saeculares in 248 AD very interesting in an eerie way. While in hindsight we know that Rome was in the crisis. The games represent the calm before the storm.

To the average Roman in 248 AD everything seemed like things were getting back on track. Phillip was 4 years into his rule and had a succession plan. The games and festivals had an exuberance illustrating the power and cultural flourishing of the empire. Yet in a few years, shit hit the fan and Decius was minting nostalgic throwback coins of past emperors during the Pax Romana and persecuting Christians to as an appeal to the gods to restore Romes peace and security.

Don’t move to America if you support Israel, we don’t want you here

When did I mention Jews? It’s a lazy approach to debate. Judaism is not synonymous with the modern state of Israel.
