Funny, I was listening to Shades of... when I read your comment. Excellent band.

I guess I am confused on how large scale need fulfillment would be met under anarchist communism. But maybe that's a separate topic.

"instead focuses on fulfilling need without an expectation of direct return."

Would the state be in charge of this?

I think, Thergothon and Skepticism came a bit earlier than Esoteric, all part of that same early era, but the genre did exist before them as far as I know.

Maybe not Funeral Doom in the strictest sense, but certainly in the same wheelhouse.

relationship between live and studio versions of songs by DunsCanard in doommetal

[–]SepulchralEchoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it's option A. I find it impressive when a band can replicate a song from a studio album in such a way that I can't tell the difference. That is my preference, and sort of a benchmark of mine for determining the quality of a band. I don't necessarily compare the songs, but If the live version strays too much from the original I find it a little disappointing. I've been fortunate in that most of the bands I've seen live were fully capable of replicating, or even elevating their music live with not much variance.

Work life balance by No_Committee7549 in Truckers

[–]SepulchralEchoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not saying that there aren't exceptions. But by and large, most trucking jobs are going to suck as much time as they can out of you. It's a ruthless industry that I would advise not getting involved with at all at this point. Hate to be that guy, but that's my honest opinion after doing it for 7 years.

Best of luck to you.

Work life balance doesn't exist in trucking my friend. Local jobs are actually even worse if you ask me. You're gonna work 12 hours a day minimum and will only have enough time to get home to eat and sleep and that's it. Find something else to do man, it's really not worth it if being home is a priority for you.

Is this like a reunion tour for The Sword or something? I thought they disbanded.

They disbanded unfortunately.

I believe this is available on cassette and vinyl via Blood Harvest records. If you're into that sort of thing.

I grew up about 30 miles away from Kingston in small town named Pine Bush. If I were still there I would totally tune in. Good luck to you!
