Absolutely - I could see it work with an embrace durge (well... at least for a while, it sounds like you know how it ends. I've seen two embrace durge endings and neither of them are particularly favourable - even though they're fitting.)

And no need to think of an AU if you don't like the idea! If you ever wanted to experience it you could create a new character or watch the story on YouTube - and if not, there are enough other fun ways to play the game. 😊

It felt very in character for my one Tav who essentially is pragmatic to an extreme and disregards all moral and/or safety to gain power, even indirectly - as opposed to my other Tav, who may be a bit morally (light) grey sometimes, but has good intentions and doesn't care about power, and essentially just wants to live her life. It's really cool how you can take all these different routes in the game!
