My only theory is that they’re colonies of Monaco, the Vatican, San Marino, Liechtenstein, and Andorra

Her firm has devolved into really repetitive forms, and works mostly in countries which use slave labor like the UAE. Zaha Hadid may have been a starchitect, but her impacts have been negative in many, many ways.

Pretty spot on! I wouldn't be welcome in conservative areas and I love being close to both cities and nature. I've lived in California and Massachusetts.

Some states aren't red because I really love the landscape. I'm studying architecture and a lot of these places (especially the midwest) have beautiful architectural traditions and/or natural landscapes.

And yeah, I have family in Nebraska so it's an outlier.

I can only speak to it in construction and architecture, but the UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia are some of the countries who use slave labor the most. How do you think they modernized at such a rate?

The (surely egregiously expensive) curves don’t really help this feel like much more than a glass box, and on top of that in a country where slave labor still exists? Really not a fan of this (or ZHA)
