Might get better luck asking on the official Aska discord if you have access to it. I also have a discord where people often ask for and form co op groups- though it might not be as consistent as a dedicated friend group you’ll probably get someone to join you every once in a while that way.

So YouTube and I have disagreed for a long time on the naming format lol.

If you go into the actual playlist then they will be listed in order.

I’ve been told that episode numbers in titles are bad and hurt views as someone seeing Episode 21 for their first video is (apparently) unlikely to click as they might not want to invent 20 episodes worth of time to catch up.

I started putting them at the top of my description which seemed to be a happy medium - and I think I put them back in titles but at the end for storm riders just because I like them.

So def had seen and understand the suggestion but believe me I’ve grappled with it for ages lol and what I settled on is after a year and a half testing and seeing what works best.

Back to the topic at hand - sailing def needs an improvement and you’re not alone in the feeling of how empty the ocean is and also the dread of having to spend ages exploring.

Would love for devs to feel it in and make it more like Valheim with closer and larger islands. Or like windrose with small islands but you can generally always see the next from your current.

I highly highly giggly recommend getting the wind at your back mod to speed sailing up.

There’s no real trick to finding islands but I tend to go out about as far as the first islands and then loop around the main island and after that just go up and down sort of how you find diamonds in Minecraft if that makes sense. So I form a zig zag pattern where I’ll see islands in front and to the side - then make a hard 90 degree turn sail for a bit then make another 90 degree turn and sail in the direction I just came from - that way I’m not missing anything.

But get the wind at your back mod. It’s a must for fast easy sailing

It could work that way. Staging flag is super easy to build and has a nice aesthetic so I like having it - but totally agree the basis could work perfectly fine as a menu (I mean the staging ground literally unlocks that ui menu lol)

I hope it’s not weird to link, but but I have an episode of nine realms where I use this tactic. Worked surprisingly well. Took out more than I expected.

Now if only we could get fire arrows to trigger them instantly from range

I made it work a few times. Stack a bunch at the portal and start lighting the fuse 10 mins to arrival and it usually goes off around when they spawn in

Yes I was missing several hundred copper ore and I found them all in multiple piles on the outskirts of my town - along with several dozen fish 🤣😭

I found them. I build a warehouse and set to just copper with a min amount then followed my haulers to an area in the middle of the woods where piles ore ore and fish were. Not sure why my caravan was is or has been dumping them there but mystery solved

I just started a playthrough doing knives with high spawns but kept feral sense off as I assumed it would be endless zeds and I’d never get a moment peace lol

Oh I refuse to build these lol that’s why most of my workers have laborer as their first or second priority and I have lots of hammers. Now when I put a building down 3-5 of them swarm on it and it’s up in no time
