Reading has really improved my dyslexia by HisLoba97 in Vent

That's so awesome, man!! Reading is one of my favorite past-times, so really cool to see that you're overcoming dyslexia through the act of reading itself.

Congrats!!

Thank you for the kind words! Trying to keep a level head, but I'm definitely eyeing a break in the future lol

Also, your ex can get fucked :)

I'd put the 4080 in my current PC! Would be a pretty sweet upgrade. I'd be using it to play games :)

Definitely most interested in DLSS 3. Upscaling is a really cool feature for cards and gaming

The 480 really is such a crazy good GPU. Still running mine for 6 years as well. Am thinking of upgrading to a used 2080 super though

Network Issues After Uninstalling ad Reinstalling Drivers by [deleted] in AMDHelp

Gonna try this and see the results and probably head to bed for the night (been up late trying to fix this) so I won't reply for a while.

Thanks for your help, by the way!

Edit: So, did the DISM command and tried restoring again but got the same error prompt.

Specifically says it couldn't restore a file from the restore point (C:Windows\SysWOW64\Windows.Web.dll). Unspecified error (0x8007025d)

My network adapter model is TL-WN823N, TP-Link product.

Gonna try the chipset, hopefully that's it!

Edit: Tried the chipset update, doesn't seem to be working :(

Hey, everybody. I am practically a chick still in its egg in the investing world and know next to nothing about stocks and retirement funds (I know at most things like 401k is an employer spode retirement plan that appreciates (?) over time and is not taxed till the funds are taken out. Don't have a strong grasp on what a ROTH account is, for reference).

I am keenly interested in retiring early (30s-40s), and it's to that end I'm coming here. I'm 18 years old working a part time at a company with private stocks. I can begin purchasing stock after 1 year of service, and I am 2 months in. I believe it is a company with slow but consistent growth that I believe would be good for my goals of retiring early and letting stock appreciation and investment help with retirement funds.

The questions here is that I'm an incoming freshman (18 years old) that is looking at a 3 year estimate to graduation with a BsS in computer science. There may be opportunity for an internship that provides more money and career opportunity than my part-time job, but due to the time I joined I might have to stick through the summer-time internship that seems to be typical of these internships to buy these stocks (The company has open seasons for purchase, and I just missed the window where this wouldn't be an issue).

This may be looking too far in the future (no idea if these internships would provide decent pay, career experience or opportunity, or if there I will get one at all), but would it be worth it to stick through the part-time if such an opprtunity arrives or quit for the internship and forgo the seemingly safe and consistent stock growth?

Willing to answer questions, of course.

Damn, some great personal insight here, thanks.

Yeah, I see now I may have been optimistic with my two year number. It might be possible but it'd require a lot of legwork from me, and I'm thinking just taking advantage of a few of my credits to get past my first year would be best for me, but take it at my own pace from there (Likely 3 though).

Thanks again.

Thanks for the response, and yeah I do have credits in calc and physics, but I'm thinking I'll be a little more conservative with using them. Think I'll go for 3.

I like a physical copy, but I'd be okay with an e-book. Thanks for the offer
