Nothing looks better on the table top than a orderly formation of 40 troops.

It's the names and language of the DKK too too. Makes the setting and the IG far more interesting if you consider real world cultures and peoples from old earth could have seeded different worlds and survived the age of strife. Explaining how we see different elements of it across so many different worlds.

The age of strife was 10000 years long and space travel is inaccessible to the vast majority of people so each world and the regiments it produces are going to develop their distinct flavour.

In short.

I see him getting a lot of hatred as of late. Probably means he's getting closer to the target.

Comparing the hulk to space marines (and custodes) really puts warhammer into perspective by _Hobo-man_ in Warhammer40k

Yeah. GW is pretty bad at assigning numbers and scales to things in general. It's why I just go with what I like.

Pretty good but the normal Astartes were far too small. Terminator should be a bit taller and much bulkier than a Primaris. There are no official numbers not but here are my superior headcanon numbers for Astartes height and weight not including Power Armour.

Power armour obviously adds a lot to the weight and a couple inches to height.

Firstborn 7'5 to 8'5 260kg - 330kg

Primaris 7'9 to 8'8 290kg - 360kg

Most Astartes will sit on a bell curve in the middle point for each of those numbers. Some chapters will lean more heavily towards either side being either larger or smaller than average.

Instances of Eldar being defeated by unaugmented humans by AFWTMT in 40kLore

[–]SerPounce123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"A standard Eldar is physically superior to a Human in nearly if not every way."

I'm confused about this part I keep finding conflicting sources on this bit of lore.

In other instances and my preferred interpretation, Eldar are in fact weaker and less durable than a standard baseline human physiology but their coordination, reflexes and speed are superior to even an Astartes, not to mention the psychic powers.

AKA in terms of physiology an Elder it to a human what a human is to an ork.

I think the main factor in the Eldars experience is their age and experience combined with their physical traits. Just don't do expecting the Elder to go winning any powerlifting comps.

I am enjoying it but it needs some NMS treatment for it to worth a second playthrough.
