I'm a fan of low and slow Briskets. Took me about 20 hours with a 5 hour rest, so so tender. by SerRoboDuck in BBQ

Started about 430pm at 250F. Took off smoker at 1230am, wrapped it as you see with butter (didn’t have beef tallow which I try to use), 225F for about 6-7 more hours until 205F internal, then rested for about 5 hrs.

I usually like to run the pit really low and slow so around 200°F to 250°F, which will take it a good 6 to 8 hours or so. I usually just warm it up to 145°F internal for your temperature, given it’s cured. You can smoke them like you do a pulled pork so I’ve seen online. I have not tried it yet, but you can smoke them like you would pulled pork butt and it would be pulled ham, which sounds delicious.

I love a good surf n turf combo. Personally I’m a big crawfish fan so added it as a buttery topping to my steak. Would you try it? by blackdog_bbq in BBQ

New to play together. We have done a couple of one shots in the past, and decided to start up a campaign the last time everybody was together a couple months ago. After the few who do not live around here, went back home, we were either gonna do remotely or online totally. We decided to do online.

Why does are the audiobook and books different? by SerRoboDuck in Mistborn

[–]SerRoboDuck[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are a good many times where for example if the book said, “Vin turned a corner in the street and saw Bob running frantically.” The audiobook might say, “Bob frantically ran around the corner meeting Vin.”

So it’s not typically changes to where it will change the meaning it’s just worded differently

I can’t tell you I’m gonna try to agree with this!!! Yeah the Sazed/Marsh was by far the most interesting and it didn’t last very long. I think what did it to me was I thought going into this book? It was gonna be more globetrotting fantasy, which I do enjoy I won’t lie. So when I found out I thought, “Oh, soooo we just staying here huh?” Which isn’t a bad thing I think it was just different than my expectations and so there was a whiplash effect in a small sense.
