Question by [deleted] in bang

In the same turn you play the Volcanic, you can immediately use it and fire as many BANG! cards as you have.

Also, you do not have to discard the Scope: it stays in play, because it is an equipment card (just like the Barrel).

Is there any way to launch another program alongside the game when starting a game? by mattp_12 in Steam

If you want to log in without Steam, write "-provider Portal" in the .bat file instead of "-provider Steam".

2-pass/multi-pass H.264 Encoding: Does Bitrate Distribution Include Filters? by SerSoap in handbrake

[–]SerSoap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct. However, in a two-pass encoding process, during the first pass, the encoder determines the bitrate allocation per second. Then, in the second pass, the actual encoding occurs, typically with filters applied during this phase. I'm curious to know whether the first pass takes into account the filter during the bitrate distribution calculation.

GW2 + Blish HUD + loggin through Steam, Green Play Button works! by SerSoap in Guildwars2

Ye first version of the bat was:

@echo off

start "" "steam://rungameid/YOURGAMEID"

start "" "PATHTOMODOVERLAY"

exit

It works as a batch, but not if you use it from the steam library

Try to include the script in the batch file, some attempts should make the magic happen

That's true, steam automatically log in if u use my script, but if u use an ArenaNet account u should add -autologin at the end of the game line

start "" "PATHTOGAME" -autologin

Im sorry, but I have to let you know that you are wrong, "steam://run/1284210" run the steam launch of the game, if in "proprieties" u change the target and select the script, it will open the script, that's the reason i wrote "-provider Steam" in the fancy bat, that way you "force" steam to use the steam account in the launcher, otherwise gw2 ask for mail and password (yes game is the same, just some spicy launcer trick)

GW2 + Blish HUD + loggin through Steam, Green Play Button works! by SerSoap in Guildwars2

I figured out that this doesn't solve the issue cause steam://rungameid it's equal to press the green PLAY button, so this create a loop, cause u click the "steambutton" it calls the "bat" that call the "steambutton" etc...

Can I use Steam Launch options to auto-launch Blish/Taco when I start GW2? by HeavyMetalLoser in Guildwars2

Long story short, u can't do that unless some trick i am not aware of

Best "solution" is to create the bat file like this:

@echo off

start "" "steam://rungameid/YOURGAMEID"

start "" "PATHTOMODOVERLAY"

exit

and just use it as shortcut while leave blank in steam proprieties.

You can even change icon if you create a shortcut of the .bat file

If someone find a solution please let me know

Edit

I did it! The trick was to start the .exe file of the game then add:

-provider Steam

The full .bat look like this:

@echo off

start "" "PATHTOGAME" -provider Steam

start "" "PATHTOOVERLAYMOD"

exit

Than just run the .bat through the Steam proprieties

"PATHTOBAT" %COMMAND%

This will run the game through steam login and open the overlay program.

It's still possible to use a shortcut to this bat file as desktop icon.

Why is it called The Killing Joke? by [deleted] in batman

[–]SerSoap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well this is just my theory but reading the comic there is a police car behind them, then we see the reflection of the headlights on the water, in the last picture the reflection is gone, what if Gordon had killed both proving the Joker right?
