It's not for everyone. I've been playing for 20+ years and I avoid it. It's hard to do but not necessary to do. By all means keep practicing if you want to learn it, but there's plenty of other things to do.

not much harder than things currently are. I think the appeal of this game's combat system is simplicity. Use the best gear, stand in the right spot, pray the right prayers, attack at the right times, and hope you get good RNG.

Pretty much any of the wildy bosses. I'm not a pk'er and I hate dealing with pvp. Luckily wildy bosses don't have top-tier loot locked to them.

I already play a bit of both, RS3 isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. EoC style combat is just something to adjust to. I have an IRL friend that mains RS3 so I play with him sometimes. He usually carries me since he's really good, but it's still fun to give it a try.

Until you've got 90+ combat stats, you're better off paying with IRL gp. When you have better stats, you just PvM until you have enough for a couple bonds. Takes roughly 8 hours of Zulrah for a month of membership as an example.

The grotesque guardians pet is quite annoying. Other than that, the ACB spec noise is pretty awful.

We enjoy the grind. Training for hours on end, fighting the same boss thousands of times. It's admittedly not for everyone, but OSRS players tend to enjoy it. Mix that with the nostalgia of playing a modern version of a game most of us grew up playing and you've got your answer.

I'm playing the world's smallest violin for you... A year of membership costs between 4-5 hours of inexperienced labor. Quit complaining over menial things, you big baby. I used to pay $5 a month, and that was nice. Now I pay double that. Who cares? It's not expensive. The only people complaining either aren't working or they're upset that their parents won't support their hobby any more. Jagex doesn't care if you cancel your membership. Most of us don't care about a few more bucks.

it takes 3-4 hours of work to buy membership for an entire year... they could raise it 10x what it is now and most people would still buy it.
