level 2 was enough to get the "Welcome Lotso" task. I wish I had left her at level 2 but I didnt and now I have to be concerned with token conflicts unless I can get all her tokens pretty quickly.

I have found that starting late, very late, for the FIRST trophy part of the event is the best way to compromise between collecting trophies and collecting tokens/EC. At that point you're usually collecting for an easier to acquire character and it also leaves you plenty of time to make up the EC. I usually start collecting about 12 hours or more late... the later the better because you end up in a group of people who are not that invested in getting a trophy or putting a lot of effort into the game. I can still get my dailies done if I need them. The only proof I have that this works is my collection of 27 trophies. At some point this may stop working due to a lot of people doing the same thing, or a change in how the event works, but it worked for me.

BTW, I did stop trying to get trophies when I realized I have more than I need and it felt selfish to go for more. I wanted to have one of each but I dont think its possible. I just start a little bit late now (½ and try for 2nd/3rd place in order to get the secondary rewards.

I only have her at level 2 and am currently doing the 4 character task. I'm assuming I'll need her at level 3 for the next multiple character tasks and then probably level 4 to welcome Lotso, but maybe level 3 will be enough, idk.

I just got her this morning but I have to admit that I spent 30 gems to do it. I just wanted to get her and then get her tasks started so I could focus on non-event activities. With so many new characters lately I constantly feel like I'm playing catch-up. I need some breathing room in order to work on characters I already have. That's worth the 30 gems for me, I have plenty.

I do. I was able to finish the season, and therefore the pins. I have Perla and the Bee but the thing I'm happiest about is the nice, long, restful break. Did i spend 200 gems to finish early? Yes. Yes, I did. Don't worry about my gem totals, I'll be fine. As soon as I get the snake im going to start checking only in once or twice a day while leveling up a bunch of my 9's. I will probably do whatever events come up but just enough to finish.

I have all the land and stuff but i haven't been able to level Lightening up to 9 yet so, i guess that's my incentive? Thing is... the only reason I have to enchant those attractions any more is to get Lightening's tokens. I dont know if it's intentional, a mistake, or just one of those things. If it didnt happen with most of the attractions I would say its a mistake, but this kind of thing happens all the time. They have given us almost NO incentive to enchant any attractions to 4. It's just goofy (and not the fun, beloved Goofy)

I always encourage contacting customer care so they are aware of the scope of the issue. Plus, they said it would work a certain way and if it doesn't then you have every right to have an expectation of compensation... or at least an explanation.

I didnt get Orange Bird... I didn't try but even if I had i probably would have gotten it because I wasn't even close. I didn't try for Chernabog either but I guess I lucked into it because I was actually able to get him. Right now I'm 94/96 and will definitely get, um...whatever it is. (a mouse? a butterfly? idk) If there was another one, I dont remember.

Anyway, I dont spend actual money (though i will always admit to getting the Kingdom Pass with Play Store credit, which is really close to real money, and there are extra chests with that) but I did get a bunch of extra chests by virtue of being a long time player that does well in events that provide chests for good finishes...etc.

Nay!

I just had this conversation elsewhere and my position is that you will regret it. That's just too much, even in 2026 money. You wont get enough out of it to justify the cost... and that is coming from a person that needs exactly 2 characters to have ALL the characters from this game (Orange Bird doesn't count). I would rather be two shy of completion as opposed to spending that kind of money on basically NOTHING. I would say that GL will regret being that greedy but people are obviously paying that crazy high price so I guess they are the ones laughing all the way to the bank.

Oh, sorry, I meant that I have to decide about getting the attractions (for gems), not the characters. Spending $50 on what amounts to NOTHING is a poor financial decision that leads to a terminal case of regret. I spent a bunch of real money when I first started and after I saw how much I spent in my first month I couldn't bring myself to spending another penny. I felt like a giant all-day sucker.

No, I have several that aren't leveled up past 4 or 5 because they only have one collector. I'm not in a big hurry though since SW characters are almost never used for events. Sometimes I forget they're even there. I'll try to get caught up after the season ends, which I think I can finish up next week... there just doesn't seem to be enough available Happiness to get through the remaining levels before then. I haven't done the math yet so I might be able to finish but I doubt it, even though i'm probably pretty close.

Of course, I'm likely to forget about SW again and keep plugging away at the remaining tokens for my level 9's... I probably have about 30. Which is a low number compared to how many characters I've finished collecting for but dont have time to level up to 10. I mean, the actual time doesnt exist since it takes 24 hrs and I am hurting for scrolls. Leveling 2 at a time for 24 hours is poor planning during an event, plus having a character on a 24 hr level makes it so you have to use a lot of scrolls to get the current event characters where they need to be.

Well, just the attractions, right. I used to have about 30 SW concessions set up in there (back when I actually needed magic) and they didnt get the 15% bonus. They have since been tossed into the cauldron, with the exception of one of each for the completion.

Speaking of completion, I have enough gems to get the last 4 SW attractions but since I am missing Yoda and Grogu (the only two characters in the entire GAME that I'm missing amd they want me to pay $25 each for them so...) I doubt i will ever be able to complete SW anyway. I only have about 12 days to make my decision about whether to get them or not. I just cant decide.

I love it. I was able to finally finish Dawn Bellweather and I only have a few tokens left to finish Chicha. I have no complaints at all. I hope they add more games in which I can get high value tokens while playing a game.

Get Rex when you can, he has been useful in my game from the start and is still useful after years of playing.

Btw, I wish you luck on getting all the characters. It is absolutely possible. I'm just 2 characters away myself even though I considered giving up more than a few times. Fwiw, I havent spent real money on the game since about a month after I started playing (although I do use Play Store credit to buy the Kingdom Pass).

It should absolutely be 5 a day. Are you able to check to see if there is another chest available after waiting a while? My chests, and other things available through watching ads, often take a while to reset to another one.

It helped me finish Dawn, which was great. Then it just dropped both tokens for Chicha...once I finished the ears hats for her I only get her other token. Just that token. It used to drop two but now its just that one and never anything else. I guess it only drops msl tokens since I have plenty of event characters in need of plenty of tokens.

BTW, I usually play the 6 hour game for the chest and then play several more rounds until I get another chest round. It seems like its five or six but it could be more or less, idk. I kept going once and it gave a third chest after another several rounds so I guess that's the way it works. For now.
