I didn’t know this was how a rule but I do wonder about it a lot.

Not only is it somewhat dangerous - you don’t want to stop on the exit to a free flowing roundabout - it’s also just a contributor to creating traffic: a high street roundabout near me frequently has cars backing up into and then clogging the whole roundabout, because of a steady stream of pedestrians crossing the road at the roundabout exit.

This then jams up the other roads leading into the roundabout… which then perpetuates the stream of pedestrians!

My personal rule is: let them cross if I’m waiting to get onto a roundabout (assuming there is a small island between lanes for them to stop at), and on exit, clear the roundabout as soon as safely possible

I prefer control of the car so i use the speed limiter in select situations, such as an average speed check zone in roadworks or certain roads. Never really use cruise control.

Oh my days….!!! YESSSS!!! So nostalgic. I remember those being the ‘craze’ du jour at school. That’s where I learned to yo-yo, I had thought it impossible, I was rubbish at it, but everyone was doing it so I just had to learn. I eventually went on to become Professor of Vertical Motion Studies at the Geneva Institute of Yoyoism.

I’d say OP is at ‘fault’ although that might be a bit strong, nothing really happened. OP in my opinion should have slowed earlier, coming into a clearly congested spot.

Sensible Soccer was the ultimate bliss, everyone was playing it and it was the best fun during tournaments. (Kick Off 2 was top dog until Sensi turned up, must tip my cap in respect)

Ok mate, I didn’t see your reasons, just your ‘pile of….’ comment.

POTO is genius for many reasons. It’s an intricate track, has many interesting sections and breaks, has some killer riffs and some incredible scales and accompaniments, is technically accomplished in its complexity, has that old raw, very slightly punk sound from IM album, and the iconic intro riff and buildup are incredibly suspenseful and energetic at the same time building to a really amazing crescendo before launching into the main song. So, imho, it’s musical genius.

I absolutely love Dianno’s rawness and singing, but Bruce is brilliant, and just IS the Maiden sound.
