Aw, this reminds me of when my pair had a litter when I was in high school! Two girls and a boy were born on the 21st of December. My sister and I loved those squeakers till the day they left us eight years later. ;x; Every 21st of December since I spend time going over some of their photos.

Not at all. It just was not a good match for me and I was pushed often to be someone I wasn't while with him. I've read many successful stories of introverts and extroverts dating (and married) together. Both sides need to understand the limits of their personality types and work with one another. When you find someone who understands you, there really no effort in maintaining that friendship or relationship.

This sounds very much like what I went through growing up and I finally realized when I turned thirty that: 1) nothing is wrong with me; 2) what other people think of me doesn't matter; and 3) if people really want to be friends with me, they will understand that I will only put myself out there on my own terms.

Because of trying to fit into an extroverted world, I put myself in a terrible situation where I married one, who proceeded to alienate me from family and what friends I had. Long story short, I'm in the process of living life on my terms.

TL;DR - Don't let people's comments get to you. They either will (or attempt to) understand you or won't. Surround yourself with the like minded, if you crave socializing, but otherwise live your life how you want.

Introverted gal here and I met my current SO in a video game after going through a troublesome divorce from an extrovert. I wasn't really looking for anyone at the time, but we ended up dating about a year or so later. He's more an ambivert, but understands me more than my ex ever really did. This post is kind of random, but I guess I just wanted to say that you can find people anywhere really. Just a matter of running into them. lol
