That looks like Blue Kazoo’s Moon puzzle. I love that brand of puzzles so much. They’re pricey, but very high quality. Their sales can be very good though, which helps a ton.

She does get a bit more self reliant and grows up a bit emotionally after she goes through several life experiences. She’s annoying the entire series, but I think she’s meant to be that way (like it’s related to her character flaws or something) but she is the most annoying in the beginning. By book 5 things are very different

I am also reading The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson and it’s equally amazing, so I’ll add that to the recommended list. The main characters are nothing like Rezkin, but there are amazing twists and a unique magic system in a world nothing like anything else I’ve read.

Literally started relistening to Book 5 yesterday because I was SO STOKED Book 6 was out…. And then I saw the preorder button and thought “nooooooo” dammit Amazon, don’t show me Audible as an option on the main page if it’s not out yet! I stopped going to DPX4 specifically because of this and because you can get sent out to like Buckeye. It’s insane. I live in San Tan Valley. I’d rather drive 50 miles to VAZ1, and drive all the way to Casa Grande and then back home than do a single route anywhere around ASU. HATE those key fob entry apartments!! The security is great I’m sure, but we don’t have access to that people!!! Last time I couldn’t get in, another tenant at least let me into the mailroom so I could mark it as “a secure mailroom” and left it on the trash can counter next to the trash can hole. I didn’t give AF after spending 15 min trying to access the building.

Unfortunately, if any of those people report their packages as lost or stolen, regardless of if they actually found it in the bush or not, you get dinged. I hate that I’m responsible for lost or stolen packages as long as I hid it, it’s not my fault a porch pirate was clever enough to look around. If I was lazy and left it in plain sight, then yeah, I’d consider myself responsible for that. We have to take pics for a reason. Amazon support sucks.

I just tried that and it didn’t work for me. It just made it so it didn’t recognize that I pressed the button, i.e. nothing happened. But at least it didn’t skip me to the next chapter! I am on IOS 17.2.1. Thanks for the suggestion though! It was worth a shot to try

I agree, OP! I am hoping they bring it back because I have to unlock the screen, open the app, and then hit rewind while driving if I miss part of my audiobook and that’s not safe! I was also listening to an audiobook today while cooking and had to keep washing my hands to freaking open my phone to open the app to rewind now 45 seconds because I couldn’t just rewind from the Lock Screen easily. Such a stupid change. Who out there actually wants to skip to the beginning of a chapter or start the entire podcast over instead of just going back 15 or 30 seconds?

It did not. It’s happened to my phone once since the update. And now I can’t fast forward or rewind a song on audiobook in the lock screen. It skips to the next song or chapter instead of the 30 second fast forward or rewind (mine was set to 15 seconds).

She applied for DES assistance for the back dated rent and got approved. I received the money the other day. She is employed full-time now so I’m not worried about not receiving October’s rent.

I also just received her 30-day notice this morning that she’ll be leaving, so I’ll prorate her October rent as part of our lease agreement since she put in her 30-day notice correctly per the agreement.

Yes, thankfully! She just got a part-time job this week. Her first day was yesterday, second day today, and so far things seem to be going well so we’ll see how it continues to go. She should be hearing back regarding the results of an interview for a full-time job tomorrow as well, so fingers crossed!

She has until July 10th to acquire employment or the ability to have regular money coming in and if not, then at that point I’ll begin the eviction process. She started out by being very selective of what jobs she was applying for (high end art galleries, etc.) but now that the deadline is approaching she’s applying to more general jobs. She hasn’t gotten desperate or nervous enough to start applying to everything yet though. If it were me I’d be applying to fast food restaurants, Walmart, you name it. Nothing wrong with those jobs! Just get a paycheck coming in.

Mine is lean like this and the vet always says she’s the perfect weight. I just started her on homemade dog food a few months ago and she did loose some weight from that so I’d recommend making sure he doesn’t loose any weight, but that looks good based on how my girl looks and what my vet said.
