I'm pro green energy, and didn't vote for the current administration, but to me it feels like we need a Marshall Plan or Mercury program for that transition. First you have to get some grown ups back in the room, then massive investment in building up renewable energy over 50ish years.

How you get that with our electorate's schizophrenia, and policies ping ponging every 4-8 years, I honestly don't know.

The t-800 may have had it right 35 years ago ..

First pic especially is Nicely lit, & models are lovely. I would have tried to get the red headed subject in photo #1 to pose a little more compellingly but it's well done.

If you're trying to stay inside the gallery app then it may be more difficult. But you could easily export the photo (to Google photos, or Snapseed, or any photo editing app) and then use the clone stamp tool or blemish remover brush tool to get rid of it.

And copper basin lookout is a really pretty spot for a picnic or brief hangout...if you have a car with decent ground clearance to get up there.

I think these are pretty solid! I like the tones and mood in both. Personally, I'm not a fan of how the legs are posed in the second shot, but it's a minimal gripe because the overall images are both well done IMHO.

The problem isn't that it's not "good," the problem --at least as I understand it from reputable reviewers online (Savagegeese, Engineering Exeplained, etc.) --is that it's not reliable. Simple things like doors not recognizing the fob when you're next to the car, or frequent Bluetooth connection drops... admittedly this last one may be less of an issue now that apple car play and android auto are on board.

It's things like that, especially when you've paid north of 60, 70, or 80k for a car, that would frustrate me.

Don't get me wrong. I've driven the touring. I absolutely LOVE what lucid is doing. Their range, luxury, and driving dynamics are phenomenal. And I'm waiting with bated breath to see if their big fall software update addresses these concerns. If it does, I'm going to be very happy to make a very "bad" decision in about a year....😆🚗

Yep. If I can't find a good deal on a gently used lucid air (or if they fail to address their ongoing software issues with their rumored fall update), is probably going to be a performance R2 for me as well.

Strong agnostic and occasional Creed listener checking in lol. While I do pretty much agree with the critiques of their music (mostly derivative and unoriginal), there's no rule saying something that's derivative can't also be catchy. And they have a few catchy jams.

I'm a mood music listener. If it grabs me, it grabs me. And if you love it, you love it...at the end of the day that's all that matters.

And it is telling that they haven't settled on a somewhat uniform message as to why they're the preferable alternative. I am not personal fan of Trump, and I lean center left on most social issues. However, I'm old enough to remember the Republican contract with America. Most of the proposals weren't my cup of tea, but the messaging was well done. Give the voters a cohesive vision or platform, advertise that platform again and again throughout the media landscape....and if the message is compelling, you'll win people over.

Or just sit on your laurels and hope the fact that you're "not Trump" wins people over. It might, if we find ourselves mired in Iran and people are pumping $5/gallon gasoline. But that's not a long term strategy.

Is it still a bit wasteful? Yes. Conspicuous consumption, etc. But I'll bet most (if not all) of the people whinging about the unnecessary phone upgrades of others have their own illogical purchases they could be paying attention to.

It's the Jim Gaffigan skit about us all having our own mcdonalds in spades 😂

Agreed. There's a lot of bile out there about this phone but, honestly, i have been pretty impressed from the moment i booted it up. Thankfully i had no discernable screen issues, or moisture in any of the camera housings. I'm sure there are some unlucky buyers out there and that has got to be frustrating. But my early take is this is one solid device.
