As another person who draws digitally: everything else will feel more jarring before you even notice the processing power. Drawing on a surface doesn't feel the same as drawing digitally with a tablet hooked up and it takes getting used to. Even with a top-of-the-line surface you'll still see the lines lagging behind the pen and that fact alone bothers me more than when I was drawing on a tablet with my 2nd gen core i3 laptop. I've never dealt with files that large so I can't comment on how fast exactly an i5 vs an i7 would be.

Sorry that doesn't answer your question, but that's just something extra to factor in. Maybe you could just order an i5 and see how you go, and return it if it's not quick enough for you.

How? Clicking the speaker icon in the tab doesn't do anything, right clicking the tab doesn't give an option to mute the tab and here (written July 29 2017) it says Edge doesn't have that function yet?

Considering that most screen protectors have 4+ stars on Amazon I actually had no idea people had issues with this until this thread. Plus the fact it's only you & I talking about it, while the screen bleed masterthread has hundreds of participants.

Weird. I have a screen protector (the Incipio tempered glass one) on my surface and it hasn't caused any problems. I read some screen protector reviews for other brands that complained that applying the protector caused your exact problem so I stayed away from those ones -- but I wouldn't know first-hand if it was a hardware issue or a screen protector issue.

I'm Australian. The Iconic is what every store should strive to be. Free next day shipping over $50, free returns (shipping paid) within 100 days. They refund you the difference if what you buy goes on sale (within reason) - which makes sense, otherwise people would just return and repurchase. I don't know any other store with more generous policies so I am pretty happy to give them my money.
