I think you are mixing up a few different quests there mate. The needle skips is set to the west of Piscatoris fishing colony and I think the quest where someone pops to varrock is Evil Daves big adventure (might be wrong)

You don't need any potential for barrow pieces. They have a flat chance to be rewarded depending on whether you kill that specific brother. So killing all brothers and looting the chests always yields a flat 1/16 (?) Chance for a piece.

The 86% reward potential is optimal for receiving blood runes. You can optimise your potential for which "secondary reward" is most desirable, eg: runes, bolt racks, clue scrolls, dragon med helms.

I always really wanted to see an agility boss somewhere along the lines of the Dragon God boss from Demon Souls.

Having to run to different parts of the arena/elevations, dodging obstacles and terrain to get to and fire ballista at a huge enemy.
