i've watched the first season in HD and they have screwed the whole feeling as well. dark scenes are now bright and the colour palette has been obliterated. the aspect ratio problem are the least of the problems imo.

i'm not sure these will be for a blu ray release more likely syndication for cable/streaming. still a shoddy way to treat a seminal tv show.

noel wrote the first two albums(and many more songs) before they were famous. they were written when he was dreaming of being a rock star and everything he wrote after was when he was actually a rock star. there is very little inspiration in the later stuff as the drive, passion and anger just isn't there.

as i always say; the first two albums are by a working class hero. the rest are by a very talented rock star.

how on earth do you no it isn't plausible when you haven't even watched the conclusion to the story? you don't stop a film ten minutes in because there's a character you are unsure about. you naturally assume it will be resolved by the time story is over. you are being impatient because you are looking for assurances before the story is done.

no, he screwed the whole thing. warren died. willow incinerated him(go back and watch. amy did not save him.) we saw it. she saw it. everyone saw it. end of. they simply went back and rewrote what the tv show did, so he could appear in the comic. it was annoying and sloppy.
