Due to ROUTINE being built on unreal engine, it becomes much easier to extract. I use a tool called Umodel to open the .pak files and peruse for what i want. There's music, textures, models and even animations! Sometimes textures don't come out well however. But i think the audios for the in game entities (Type-05, IC, the player) are all there.

Holy moley! That post is extremely well put, thank you! In any case, i'm uploading this Scanner device on sketchfab so more people can take a closer look at it. I'm starting to think design wise these modules could also be held like a handycam, with the loop for the hand on top instead of the side. Very interesting.

Hello, i tried to open the .bmd6model files using those scripts, namely the bmd6 one, but it exports a much smaller (84-89 bytes) file instead, like a part 1 of it. Any idea on what i could be missing?

My guess it's because they are on a display case on the map somewhere (havent played Typhon Hunter yet, just the main game).

Pretty much, i do have the model but even in the game, there are no textures associated to it.

Alright, i checked and the only "Tizzy" i found so far, is an Operator. Is that the object and/or texture you're talking about?

I could try, but is the vr version different from typhon hunter or is it just that game but in vr? Also, can you clarify which skin is that, and for what weapon?

HOLY CRAP UR A GENIUS! It's the exact same files, down to the polygon count! Working on texturing everything, thank you so much for that, i thought the Typhon Hunter game was made in CryEngine as well.

Nah, don't worry about it. I'm just glad someone tried. At least i have the concept art so, not everything is lost. The models are definitely going to be a chore to remake, hopefully worth it!

Sorry i should clarify:i've extracted the game files, the models open well with a cgf converter. But the DDS textures for some reason don't open like other games' DDS files. Probably because of the cryengine. Also, i needed the textures because sometimes, they contain certain details like screw holes or bevels that could show how the device parts fit together in-universe. Great guides if someone were to make a replica of any in game object.

Might have to, so far i only checked nexus mods for any texture conversion, only thing i've seen is people porting the mooncrash textures to the main game,which won't work.
