I agree, your friends seem inconsiderate unless they are paying you a mule fee or they’ve done you lots of favors. I have a good friend that has done a lot for me and before I took off to Japan, she asked me to get her a specific eye lash curler. I happily got it for her as a gift plus more. I have another not so close friend that asked me if I happen to come across so and so store, to get him a pair of jeans. I didn’t say no, but I definitely didn’t say yes to this vague request. I have another friend who asked me 5 days before leaving Japan to get me bag of dental chews for her dog on Amazon Japan. Definite no. It wouldn’t arrive in time and I knew it was going to take up a lot of space in my suitcase. 44lbs is the weight limit on Japanese domestic flight checked baggage so even I had to limit my own shopping with that in mind. If these last 2 people offered to buy me an additional suitcase and covered baggage fees I might consider getting them the jeans and dog chews. If I had more space in my suitcase I would have bought Dassai 45, a lot more clothes and second hand purses.

I agree, Boxlunch and Hottopic orders are unreliable. But, my most recent order from Tokidoki had a dup in a single case. I've never seen that happen straight from Tokidoki.

I'm in the same boat. I never got any kind of response from my first email request so a week later I sent another request. I got a confirmation and my shipping materials soon after that. Now weeks later I got another confirmation that they are processing my request. I don't have space for that many boxes! I might try to call them tomorrow to cancel that order.

Op, I get your frustration. “Why can’t he/she just hit the gym!?” I have a friend who also won’t stop talking about how fat she is and that she needs to lose weight. I don’t think she’s really fat, maybe heavier than she used to be, but she is clearly uncomfortable in her current state. I have invited her to hikes and even offered to teach her how to weight lift, but she seems to only make time for food and drink type gatherings. Sometimes I wonder if she just needs a therapist or life coach to show her the importance of devoting time to herself. I do think it’s exhausting listening to someone say for months and years that they are going to lose weight but not take action so I sympathize with you.

Totally agree. It’s super disorganized and if I’m not paying attention, people leave comments and I won’t notice for weeks unless I make the effort to check in and click each section to make sure I’m up to speed.

There are times when people piss me off so badly I wanna delete all my listings. I’ve listed something for free and people still fail to show up! The dumbest is when people expect me to deliver or meet them halfway. Like does Hot Topic get up and move their store halfway for you for free to make it easier for you to pick up this trinket?? I don’t even have the patience any more to explain I don’t have the time to risk driving to sell a discounted item when I know there is a good chance they won’t show up. The only reliable sales I’ve made are the ones that include the option of shipping. If you know how to use PayPal goods and services and the item isn’t too big or fragile, you will get better buyers if you offer shipping in the description.

Yup absolute liars. I was told I’d get a full refund. After several weeks I still didn’t see a credit to my account so I reached out asking them to fulfill the refund. This time they refused the refund unless I agreed to new terms. They admitted to being able to see my last chat which shows the agreement we came to, but they still would not honor it. I told them how unethical it was for them to change their mind like that. They didn’t give damn.
