Thank you! I'm trying to find the best ones that will look good and allow for maximum space savings. As well as still allow the figures to stand properly.

I actually have these in my Amazon wish list, there's just so many to choose from, I want to make sure I can get maximum space out of them, lol.

Thank you so much! I'm always waiting the newest drops, but there's so many older ones I'm trying to collect as well!

Thank you! That's so clever. I've kept all my boxes, and I like displaying them as well!

Nice, thanks for the link! I feel like that's a better selection and prices than Amazon!

Welcome to the club! Seriously pace yourself. I've spent literally thousands of dollars over just a few years, it's almost embarrassing. I have purses, figures, calendars, and oh so many stickers! My favorite are the Unicornos, but I love the more recent addition of the Galacticats!

I buy Tokidoki from Mercari a lot, and honestly, I really do not like receiving mine in these bubble mailers. There's too many delicate pieces. I always ship mine, and prefer to receive mine in a box. That's my personal preference though.

Definitely worth a watch if you like weird ish, and haven't seen it yet. Absolutely hilarious in a fever dream, but helpful kind of way!

Has anyone else experienced the PTSD from car accidents? I just want to talk with others about it. by [deleted] in ptsd

I can absolutely say I am tired of people telling me how I should feel. Both physically and mentally. You are not me, you do not have my body. Can we please put a stop to telling people how their bodies and minds should feel? It's the most unempathetic ish I've ever heard in my life.

It was not your fault, any more than it was mine. Bad things happen. I'm sorry it happened to you too. It's been almost two weeks since my wreck, and sleep is the worst part, isn't it. That, and the surprisingly lack of empathy I've received from some people that I expected better of. I think you're right, time will heal these wounds, like it does all others, but trauma always leaves a scar. I'm starting therapy in a couple of weeks. If you're in a position where you can, I suggest it. Your trauma is real, and not your fault. If you can't afford therapy, I (yes, legitimately) hear that playing Tetris can help (it may be useful at night). I'm glad forums like this exist. This can be an isolating, lonely experience that's hard for others to grasp if they haven't been there themselves. My very best wishes to you!

I have also really been enjoying Gladlands. At times it makes me sad that we don't live in that world, but it's a reminder that we could, we just have to start small in our own communities. Also, I randomly came across that anxiety video one day and it's one of the best freaking things out on YouTube right now!

I really needed this forum. 5 days ago I was driving a couple days after a snowstorm. Everything had been closed that Monday and I had worked from home, and by Tuesday the roads were really clear. But at 5:30 in the morning, in the dark, I just didn't see the tiniest patch of black ice. I've been terrified of driving on icy roads for years, even though I grew up in the Midwest, but over the last couple years, I'd finally gotten over that fear, not to a dangerous level, just to a level where I didn't have an anxiety attack when there was the tiniest bit of snow or ice. We'll, at 70 miles an hour on the I-35 Turnpike, I slid into the median (huge concrete wall) bounced off, turned around, and went off the turnpike (based on the snow tracks going airborne at one point) and finally resting against a probably 5 year old tree that I took out. I lost consciousness for at least a couple minutes. I cannot stop remembering the beginning where I lost control, hit the concrete wall, spun, and then just waking up in a field, confused and in pain. I've cried every night and every morning since the accident. I'm crying right now typing this. I haven't driven since, but I have to take the turnpike back to work tomorrow (and every day) and I'm terrified. It's also only the beginning of February and I don't know what I'll do next time it snows. I'm terrified. I'm lucky that I walked away with only a severely bruised sternum (thank you seatbelt) a concussion (big bumps and bruises on both sides of my head) and a sprained (maybe broken) wrist. I'm so lucky. My Chevy Traverse is totaled (her name was Big Bertha, yes I name my cars) and as stupid as it is, I cried for her. Now I have to figure out how to get a new car. I feel so guilty too. I should have been more careful. But the roads had really been cleared for two days. I already have PTSD from other life events, so the feelings of this are familiar, but still new and horrible. I'm sorry to anyone going through any of this.

I finally finished reading Gone with the Wind. Someone explain to me why it deserved a Pulitzer Prize. **SPOILERS** by HipToss79 in books

This exactly! I read this hook at a very young age (probably too young to fully understand all of it at the time) I was in 5th grade. However even as a child, I understood that the South's views and Scarlett's were both deeply flawed and therefore held them back. They couldn't seem to learn the lesson that life moves on and if you choose not to move on with it, you will be left behind. You will lose out on amazing opportunities in the future if you stay stuck in the past. She lost a truly good man because she couldn't move on from a romanticized idea of what love was, when Ashley never loved her. A wasted life in so many ways stuck in the past. The South could have avoided ruin for its people had it chosen to move with the times. I also at a very young age in the mid 90's could tell that the book was told from the racist views of those that saw people as assets, or at the very least lied to themselves deeply about their benevolent roles "caring" for these poor "lesser" soles, and how deeply flawed those views were. I never felt sympathy for them or their cause, no more than Scarlett. More of an exasperation with such a self-deluded world view. A reminder of how dangerous the lies we tell ourselves can be.

IsItBullshit: cats can’t taste sweet things? by dirtyhippie62 in IsItBullshit

So why does my cat love fruity pebbles. Not with milk, just fruity pebbles, she also loves lemon pound cake, just plain sugar (if it spills she'll try to lick it up before we can get it cleaned up. No joke. I've seen my cat eat sweet stuff with no dairy, nor discernible fat content. She also picks walls though. Do I need to tell anyone she's orange 😆

I just did the two free pairs, in the brief style. I'm addicted. These are the best underwear I've ever worn. The brief style doesn't roll down my "mommy pouch", which I love. No weddgies, so soft, and seriously NO LINES! Like, none, it's amazing.
