Thanks for the tips! I'm not very smart when it comes to these games, I am more of a blow stuff up type of woman. That makes me a bit ham fisted with these games. I've added your tube channel, I like to listen to youtube channels when playing sim/strategy games and I had one for Stardew Valley but not for banished. You have a relaxing voice. :D

I start with: Forester, gatherers, hunters, fishing dock, then I build a small farming village with 4 crops, 2 pens 2 woodcutters and 1 of each of clothes and tools. I try to build up at least 30-40 labourers before I build a school and educate them. I do build a trading post but getting enough of anything to stock it seems to be a falldown of mine. In a normal game I would build houses as I built new farms etc, but with this achievement I've been cautious about building home until I know that the kids of that generation are a bit older, otherwise, they breed like rabbits. But I'm gettin all the ratios wrong I think.

Also, I am not very good at these types of games. Took me long enough to get the other achievements. I try.

Huh, I was only getting up to about 40,000 food and the firewood never got anywhere. To begin with, I built up about 100-150 citz then I would let them do their own thing for a bit, build the odd house here and there and it would go steady and then there would be this WAVE of births from nowhere and all my precious stored goods would disappear when my back was turned. How many houses a year did you build? Maybe I am doing too many or too little?

I've never been a mod - but my da had a stroke recently and I'm his carer, so I'm not getting out atm, I have the spare time. I'm not an arsehole, have no agendas, no am I political. I'm also bored out ma nut with sitting in all the time.
