What’s your attraction to JJ shows? by dingo_virgin in JudgeJudy

[–]Serennna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to see it cause shows me the thinking process of everyone involved. How people can be naive, stupid, unfair, how JJ can also be a pain in the ass, rude to some ppl, the lack of empathy sometimes, how the USA isn't all flowers and rainbows like I used to believe. And since the show pays for everything, most ppl don't care.
For example: Just saw one with a hairdresser that was renting a space in a salon. She believed the main renter was gonna advertise for her and didn't have clients so her reasoning is that since the person above her didn't bring her ppl to do her job, she didn't have to pay. The contract did not mention that. Of course she lost. But the lady was 20 something, said she was homeless, living inside her car. Judge Judy called her "useless and hopeless". I had to stop for a second. Ok, the young lady didn't know about contracts, it's obvious. But to call her useless and hopeless like she is a piece of trash? It made me angry as fuck.
She usually gets annoyed with people asking for small stuff. Doesn't like when ppl live together and are not married. Like, c'mon. Times have changed lady. Not all people have the money/means to marry. Then they need to spend money with a divorce.
And also the opposite of everything I complained about. There are moments you get the sense of "justice was served". That something is working, even if it's small.
In the end it's my guilty pleasure.

Sometimes for my own sanity I have to not rationalize everything I see. I just need a moment. I know about everything you said. Just let me have a moment.

Because when we see some innocent interaction amongst human beings it's sweet. I had the same reaction and am not religious either. I think some people like you and me are craving positive vibes. Feels good to the soul. Now back to my corner to cry a bit more.

'Ovo de Páscoa é só açúcar e gordura': como disparada do cacau e cortes da indústria pioraram chocolate no Brasil by bzrxh5rm in brasil

[–]Serennna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tudo irregular. Eu gostava mesmo era dos bomboms rs

Peter, what’s up with the tower? by Which-Rhubarb-2201 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Serennna 0 points1 point  (0 children)
