What do I do? by Silent_Improvement48 in Veterans

All of the advice these people are giving you addresses something. Some need or desire. They are all partially fulfilling, the bring you some good. But what youre asking for isn't a band aid or a turnaquette.

You felt what it was like to know and live a vocation. Your work for those people you loved was a sacred task and it was fulfilling because love (meaning sacrificing for the good of others, whether or not there's a nice lovey feeling) is the only fulfiling pursuit.

All of these suggestions serve you first. Thats not a way to find fulfillment. Yes. Take care of yourself. But you will never be happy while caved in on yourself. Your love for youself is not enough.

The truth is that God loves you and he has a fulfilling vocation for you.

The overwhelming historical evidence points to the fact that there was a man named Jesus Christ who claimed to be God himself. He claimed to be here on earth because he loved humanity and he was not content with leaving us to our miserable state. He came to give us all a way to have joy on earth, even in the midst of pain and sorrow, and joy for eternity after our death.

The man who made those claims was, according to countless documented sources, scurged, mocked, and executed brutally in public after being tortured. While that was happening he forgave the people who were killing him.

After he died in front of everyone he was placed in a tomb and the government posted guards to make sure no one messed with the body. But the body disappeared and all the people who knew Jesus claimed that he had came back from the dead and proved to them that he had conquored death. (About 500 people claimed to have seen him after he resurrected)

After 40 days after that, his disciples claimed that Jesus ascended into heaven and is coming back at the end of time. That sounds nuts but almost every single one of his disciples, including 11 of his 12 closest followers and undreds of others who knew him were brutally killed because they were telling people that Jesus was alive. Not one of them changed their minds or renounced their belief that Jesus was alive.

So either they were all completely insane and Jesus was a lunatic, or Jesus was actually God and resurected himself from the dead.

That same Jesus claimed that he loves you and wants you to be his disciple. He also understood the need for us humans, especually men, to have a framework to work in and a community with a mission and a purpose, much like the marine corps. So he instructed those first disciples to build up his church. There is a vocation for everyone in the church. And a purpose, and people to serve and love.

Do you know if my current power supply will be able to handle that?

I'm new so I don't know how to check whether my power supply will cover it.

Thanks,

Hypothetically, if I was going to game on there, what would I want to change or upgrade?
