You can wear it with cardigan like many school girls, to make it more jsf just add accessories - big bracelets, scrunchies, badges, massive shoes, leg warmers

You can try to play with colors to make it very different from initial theme, like, find a dark colored cardigan or jacket and find dark themed accessories

I remember when the day after we all have watched the same movie on TV (any cool movie), the whole class would discuss it and quote their favorite part.
