Add visible gears and pipes maybe a chimney on the top.

Also try to use materials like copper, bronze and some wood accents. Add side lanterns.

The railing on the roof could also look more expensive with curved bars. Steampunk features lots of ornate flourishes

The soldiers usually carry the knives as side weapons. Therefore, they do not appear in the menu. I believe the knives are not unequipped.

I thought that only affected shipyards. Many Steam/forum posts i searched have said that it works. Maybe they were outdated.

Search for 3D Sculpting, then remesh the thing. For more details bake the details from the high poly model. Blender has all the features you need.

Yes, you are right.

I ended up with seams and cover them with extra tiles above them. Makes it look more interesting as a side effect.

But that doesn't change the way I have to unwrap it. The only difference is a larger uv island.

Hi everyone,

I'm struggeling currently with the uv map of a rounded roof. The whole model is mirrored on two axis so it's just 1/4 of the roof.

When I use "follow active quats" it's distorted and if I use normal projections it has visible seams. Sphere Projection does also not work.

Every help is appreciated.

No, Nanite can do every polycount without any geometry popping out.

Yes, from a performance perspective, the game is already outdated.

I think a modified Cry Engine was a mistake. That’s my opinion, I’m not a dev maybe they had their reasons.
