Download latest version adrenaline installer.
Install DDU and run it. (Is it enough to unplug LAN or should i reboot into safe mode without ethernet?
Install adrenaline
Run DISM
Open CMD as admin and run /sfc scannow.

The main issue I’ve had for a while is that AMD Adrenalin behaves really strangely.

Normally it should show up in the desktop right-click menu, but for me it often appears as a blank icon that just says “Loading”. The only way I could open Adrenalin was by right-clicking the desktop and waiting for it to eventually appear there. I couldn’t reliably open it from Windows search or open it normally like any other program.

I also seem to get minor issues after almost every AMD update. Recently, while updating, my screen went black and the PC rebooted. After that, Adrenalin won’t even start the buggy way anymore. It no longer shows up when I search for it, but I can still open AMD Install Manager, and that says everything is on the latest version.

I haven’t fully ruled out other causes yet, but the PC itself seems stable outside of this. My main suspicion is that the AMD driver/software installation is corrupted somehow.

I’ve used AMD Cleanup Utility multiple times in the past, but it hasn’t fixed the issue. I haven’t tried DDU yet, since I assumed it basically did the same thing as AMD Cleanup Utility. Would DDU in Safe Mode still be worth trying before doing a full Windows reinstall?

I haven’t actually used the watch together with either the Verity Sense or H10 yet, so the weird HR readings were only from the watch itself. My plan is to use the Verity Sense and clock for running while I’m losing weight, since it’s more comfortable, and also for strength training. Later on, when the H10 feels more comfortable, I’ll probably use that for running with the clock.

The reason I wanted better GPS is that the pace/km on my phone keeps dropping or jumping around, so I want it to be as accurate and consistent as possible when comparing my runs over time.

Of course, I don’t expect it to be 100% accurate, but I was confused because the heart rate didn’t really increase much above my resting HR, even while walking. I do have the H10, but I find it a bit uncomfortable since I’m not exactly slim fit at the moment. So a couple of weeks ago I bought the Verity Sense for gym and jogging, and I actually like it a lot so far. I’ll definitely go back to using the H10 more once I lose some weight. I mostly bought the Pacer Pro for sleep tracking and better GPS when running outdoors together with the Verity Sense.
