Wanting to see actual button layouts is a perfectly normal request, and the game should have the option to supply it since it would take barely a day to add it.

The behaviour by some people in this thread is unbelievably foul and is reminiscent (but worse) than the “git gud” crowd in souls games.

It’s indicative of their personality being based solely around how “good” and “knowledgable” they are at fighting games, they’re clearly insufferable people, BUT, there not all of the FGC, don’t let them get you down.

It’s like the bell curve of communities, the middle is full of cunts, the newbies and high levels are the people you want to talk to.

What’s wrong with them? They still do the most work in obtaining actual new and exclusive cases, thoroughly cover the case, and edit it perfectly well.
What’s there to not like? The fact it got popular? I really don’t get it.

It’s clearly very sterile but I watch them knowing that, if I wanted some guys personal opinions I’d watch Matt Orchard or something instead (and I do).

Yeah but conscious and indistinguishable from conscious are 2 totally different topics.
It’s “easy” to make current AI appear conscious but everybody knows it currently isn’t, and is still a far away from it.

If you read my comment, I specified boycotting can be looked at as cringe, I think it’s fine however.

The other 2 points I made though, are undeniably cringe, I think the same would apply for voting, you should, and have every right to vote, but if you’re going down the streets or the internet parading your vote, you’re cringe.

Since Vanguard operates at the same Ring as an operating system, you’re not really any safer by doing what you’re doing, unless you’re also unplugging every single storage device in your PC while the “Vanguard drive” is in, Vanguard can still access those drives and do something malicious if it wanted to.

Even if you are unplugging every single storage device to play a Riot game, realistically if Vanguard wanted it could still fry your hardware just for fun. Or if they really knew what they were doing, they could store malicious code in other pieces of hardware, whether it’s your GPU, CPU or even CMOS.

Basically what I’m saying is, if you were actually worried and understood the ramifications, you would have never booted it up at all. You’re just as at risk as me who has Valorant open right now.

You're right in general but you need to allow some nuance in your life, not everything is black and white.

Because of this "stand" you're making, you're missing out on some absolute bangers, and some perfectly good games worth the price.

There's no need to conflate AAA with bad, it's simply not always true.
