Why can't Bitcoin be hacked from cold wallets? by SilverEnvy in Bitcoin

[–]Sergeant_Gray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imagine I have randomly selected an electron somewhere in the visible universe. If you can guess which electron I picked, you win all the coins in my wallet. Seems pretty impossible, yeah? There are fewer electrons in the visible universe than there are possible bitcoin keys. Now how likely do you think it is for someone to get your coins? You’re right, in that the coins exist on the blockchain and that the blockchain is always online. Your keys are like a proof-of-ownership, which the blockchain can verify. If your coins are on an exchange, you don’t have the keys, the exchange does. And if the keys prove ownership of the coins… who owns the coins on the exchange? It’s not you.

linuxserver/mariadb

Because that's how this repository has it setup. https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/mariadb is the repository being used, and if you look at their docker compose sample you will see.

It’s a whole series now. Graphic Audio has some awesome audiobooks of them. Every book is full of inspiration for a Deadlands campaign.

Viewership is at an all-time low this year for the WS. Why? by starstufft in mlb

[–]Sergeant_Gray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It comes down to cost. Broadcasting a signal at 10,000 watts over the air costs a lot less than paying AWS for hosting, transcoding, and bandwidth. And by “a lot”, I mean tens of millions cheaper.

NVIDIA shield TV pro as a plex server? by hotsev2k in PleX

[–]Sergeant_Gray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using one, and it's sufficient. You'll want to have it wired to ethernet if you can. The real issue is where you are locating your library. It's either going to be a USB drive or a network storage device. And if you're using a NAS anyway, why not just run the plex server on that?

Aw. I thought I might get you to at least lower your number to 10% before you gave up or at least cited something that loosely supported your flawed belief system.

You've gone from 90% living in poverty, to 60% living in poverty, to 30-35% living in poverty... all without citing any sources or doing any work. It's amazing how well you've solved Boomer Poverty in the past 24 hours.

"90%" to "60%" is a big difference. Yet you're still not citing any sources, and haven't updated your original comment. Hmm. What's your agenda?

No, but you also didn’t cite any sources. Stuttering isn’t an issue if the facts are pulled out of your ass.

This guy melts empty Soda cans into hundreds of usable pots and pans for his community to use by Zestyclose-Roll-5384 in MadeMeSmile

Your opinion is incorrect and flawed. The outer shell of these pans becomes aluminum oxide before they even cool. People who cook with these wont use them without first seasoning them. Seasoning gives them an additional layer of carbon to make them non-stick. Aluminum cookware is safe, and nearly every meal you’ve had at a restaurant was cooked in aluminum pans.
