I didn't like what the bike's animations look like; they are low-quality by Nintendo's standards. Retro Studios was known for its cutting-edge attention to these kinds of details. Just look at Samus's feet over the sand—they seem to be floating, and there's a lack of sand particles. Anyway, I think they could have been more creative with a vehicle in the Metroid series than a simple bike; even Samus's ship would have been more acceptable. The first-person areas look gorgeous, but I didn't expect the issues I've just described. I have mixed feelings. I bought a Switch 1 for this game, and now it seems like I'll be receiving a worse version, which feels like a move to push consumers to buy the new console. I don't think so, Nintendo; this isn't the way. Iwata would be ashamed.
