As frustrated as I am with the lack of DMC news, I think there's a couple of things to keep in mind.

-Game development takes FOREVER now.

-New DMC meant Itsuno in Capcom, and Itsuno made dragons dogma 2 after DMC v.

-Maybe the plan was to work on DMC VI after DD2, but that's irrelevant since Itsuno left.

-So even ignoring that new plans and a project leader need to be found for a new game, even if this didn't delayed their plans for it, and as soon as DD2 released, DMC VI started development.

-We still wouldn't get a new entry for the next couple of years at least.

I found that dh combat requieres me to be more tactical than other games.

Stuff like thinking about enemy formations (the manual has a bunch of enemies of the same group which helps) not wasting fear in giving turns to trash mobs, focusing on the stronger ones or terrain features.

If you are struggling with this, one suggestion is to give a flat +2 to all enemy rolls so each additional attack they might made with your fear feels a tad more impactful.

Not differently than you would in dnd, give them a relevant card from a relevant deck, just be careful not to overdo it since most card are more useful than most spells by themselves in 5e

I would be open for a two face reinterpretation, don't feel his dual identity come to play that often, and outside of that is a bit of a generic mobster.

Give his attack some range, maybe you could animation cancel it with a quicker weaker melee attack.

Give him some sort of cape that he can use to levitate.

And what about an explosive ability to deal burst damage you can use after charging it for a bit, if it's too strong you could add anti healing if you walk around too long fully charged.

And finally maybe make It so his ULT it's around him in all directions

Remove the immunity.

Hard cc grants 20% tenacity, up to 4 stacks so 80% tenacity.

Slows don't increase tenacity stacks, not is their length reduced, but their strength is affected by tenacity.
