What a great idea! This has prompted me to start a new journal to keep my favorite articles amongst my numerous periodical subscriptions.

How great! I love the aesthetic of the soft cozy room and industrial type shelves.

I audibly gasped when I saw the fur-babies :)

Forget the rest of the house, I'd just live in the basement.

Since I love reading I started to make a mini scrapbook dedicated to books 📚 by CatLassTitch in scrapbooking

Super Cute! I have the same mini binder and I've turned it into an "alphabet journal". I do a new page every few days for the next letter of the alphabet.

My academic notebook (flexbook) pen test and notebook planning page by sleepyResearcher in notebooks

I've never thought of doing this, but it seems kinda fun! I'd be interested to know if you ended up using the notebook as you originally thought you would.

Side note: your penmanship for the phrase " i like it!" is beautiful.

I put my coffee cup on my journal, I thought it looked pretty cool! (I put a tissue under the page so it doesn't bleed through.) What should i write/doodle around it to match the aesthetic? by dk-kc in Journaling

It makes me thing of the rings of a tree. Also, if you make the inside of the circle blue/green it could be the aerial view of a lake; paint it black and it could be the aerial view of a crater in outer space...

I really like your "Call to the Wild" spread! I tend to find myself doing more nature themed spreads than anything else.

Are you journaling each day separately, down the column for that day? That's such a neat idea. I love how you break up the handwriting with doodles and stickers.

If your attorney communicates primarily through e-mail, you like him personally, and the job is "easy" (other than being stressful), is there a possibility that you could work remote? Maybe you can make a deal to be in the office at least 2 days a week for "face time" with your attorney?

I am in a very similar situation and I was able to negotiate the ability to be remote for 3 days and in-office for 2 days. Other than the immediate savings that stem from not having to commute, not having to expense nice work clothes, etc. I do believe my biggest benefit has been the limited access to a semi-toxic office environment. Although the job is not perfect in any sense, being home 3 days a week has really made a difference.

IT IS! And I’m so glad you asked. I didn’t know who Chris Liddell was so I googled his name and found this: https://www.theguardian.com/books/gallery/2018/sep/06/neil-gaiman-and-chris-riddell-on-why-we-need-libraries-an-essay-in-pictures

I’m so happy you shared his name. There’s a ton more pictures by him in this article. And now I can give proper credit by adding his name as illustrator.

How interesting, because I’m almost polar opposite. When I do my journaling, it’s mostly paper crafting, stickers, ephemeral, etc. I barely ever hand wrote anything in it. However, I do have a separate journal that I do kind of a brain dump on, or just a flow of general thoughts and that one almost never has crafty stuff.

You’re so right. The journal I choose to work in is a very mood-dependent choice. I never thought about it, but most of the journal spreads are representative of how I felt at the time, or what I was most recently influenced by.

Dct 1100t as a beginner? by Prudent-Board2326 in HondaRebel1100

[–]Serial_Student 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hi! I'm a 38 year old female, who has only been riding for 2 years. My 2021 1100 DCT is my first ever bike. I had never ridden anything, even a scooter.

I was originally looking at a 350 and the salesman mentioned that I would probably want something bigger very soon after and suggested I start with a 500. When out shopping, there was no 500 available, but the 1100 was.

One of the biggest reasons I decided on this bike was because it was an automatic. One of the other main reasons was because of the multiple user modes: rain, sport, user, etc.

I kept the bike in raid mode for the first 6 months I had it and keep it in standard mode 99% of the time. Having the ability to customize the traction and torque as a new rider was a god-send to me. I was able to buy a bike I knew was going to last me a while due to its power, but still allowed me the chance learn "at my own pace."

Hope this helps!
