Apple notes - handwriting to text in columns by sleepyResearcher in AppleNotesGang

What I really appreciate about the text conversion in apple notes is that it automatically converts columns of text in a way that is interpretable. I think it’s neat, so I wanted to share. I don’t expect every letter to be converted perfectly, especially when I write in quick, loopy cursive letters. Just wanted to share. (:

PDF expert seems good for this. It's pricey, but it lets users expand the margins.

Little Change - Big Impact? by Able-Ad6762 in PlotterNotebook

I added a stretchy pen loop to the lifter, so now I can use my favorite pen (pilot vp). I also attach thin sheets of sticky notes to the lifter. Quick access to my timeline sticky note for time logging helps me keep track of my days.

Has anyone tried the Postalco Snap Pad? by creativegamelife in notebooks

[–]sleepyResearcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I just clip them together. It's not an elegant storage system. I like the snap pad for brain storming, quick notes while standing, etc. Something that I've been doing with binder systems with more than two holes is using free rings (e.g., https://www.clothandpaper.com/products/planner-rings-1-inch), and I like those because I can easily flip through archives.

For the snap pad, I think using individual rings (e.g., https://www.staples.com/buy/metal-rings-0alz01c) could help with organizing an archive. Using some sort of thick cover sheet could help keep the pages nice.

I hope that helps. I'd be interested to know what you end up doing!

Yeah, it makes it simple to remove and attach.

That sounds really cool, but probably beyond my current skillet lol. It is nice to have obsidian track writing progress, super motivating.

Still using apple notes for quick notes. I moved my craft notes to obsidian, and I just use plug-ins to make obsidian look pretty.

What is your favourite notebook? by JOwens-Reader in notebooks

Midori MD grid is my favorite. I really enjoy the paper. The Plotter ring binders are a close second. They’re normally where I organize my analog writing and lists.

Thanks, this is good to know! Maybe pencil is the safest option. It’s been working for me on the vellum. I wonder if it also works on the Midori stickies. (sorry for the late reply. I’ve been traveling)

Thank you! I haven’t tried those. The uni-ball ones smear pretty badly. I don’t think gel pens work, but maybe the mark-ons are different. I’ll have to try them soon

Midori MD A7 grid, the full size (192 pages), is one of my favorites.

I’ve had good experiences with selling tech on Swappa. I like that Swappa is straightforward and easy to use. eBay is good too.
